Too reminiscent of that linesman in Holland who got beaten to death. Hazard should be banned for life and a statue of the ballboy put up outside the ground.

At least Cantona had the mitigationg factor that it was a Plarse fan he assaulted, not some 14 year old ball boy. Chelsea don't need to look for trouble do they. Morally bankrupt like Ferguson and a few others in that league.

This is all reminds me of the time you played us a few years ago and Danny Cullip tried to grab the ball out of the hands of one of our ballboys so the ballboy kicked him, Cullip was furious and was lucky our player Eugen Dadi pulled him away as he was about to go for the ballboy :lolol:

Ballboy looked and behaved like a little scroat. Hazard just wanted the ball back but no excuse for man handling the kid and kicking him (clearly in the act of trying to get to the ball). Sadly this will be a case of the media over reacting because they know its a great story. The most puke inducing thing about the whole incident was the sky sports news anchor looking down the camera with a carefully contrived disappointed and judgmental look to tell us that the sad thing about this incident is that it will over-shadow a great result for Swansea.

Mini Craig Noone, wearing a padded jacket somehow sustains a couple of broken ribs after a gentle stab of a football boot underneath his body by Hazard. What a bag of shite. Give Hazard an OBE and send the little shit to the nearest Welsh gulag asap.

The way I saw it, the boy was acting like a complete tw@t. Hazard saw that and went to kick the ball from under him. Just a spur of the moment bit of anger to get the ball, whereas the kid was deliberately trying to time waste.

Still think Hazard was in the wrong doing it and should have been sent off, but kid is very disgraced also imho.

Or a 17 year old one ? Everyone is going on like he's some frail boy scout, blokes of his age fought and died in the falklands.

Embarrassing behaviour from the ball boy and Hazard.

I have heard nothing about Swansea getting through to the final, and all about this incident.

17 or 14 years old but still minor in eyes of law and probably in behaviour as well. He made a decision that reflects his age and inexperience. You would have hoped that the highly paid professional footballer would have made a decision not to react based on his age, standing and experience, or perhaps he did. No excuse for the players behaviour and rightly sent off. I don't understand people who apologise for him and blame the teenage boyball. No wonder footballers of today feel that can do anything when some people are prepared to justify their behaviour at every turn.

rant over.

The ball ran out of play. The ball boy had the ball in his possession, but ended up being pushed to the ground. He was lying on top of the ball, unable to get up as he was being badgered by Eden. Hazard then gave him a sharp kick to his kidney, in a ill founded effort to kick the ball from underneath him.

You'll probably get some arse pundit suggesting it wasn't studs up, so only deserved a yellow.
Spot on! The ball boy has been reported tweeting he is the King Ball Boy and time wasting might go on, but that is for the ref to sort out not a thug of a player !
