Very hard game for Lewes this afternoon and Eastbourne have by far the easiest run-in from here, Lewes will do well to top the division but C'mon The Rooks!

I reckon whoever does miss out on the title will still go up, as you just have to look at both teams goal difference to see that they are so much superior than the rest of the division.

Well done the Rooks.

Mixed feelings for you Lord B?

Talked to martin Elliot this morning, chairman of Lewes, who's son plays for Kingston alongside my 12yo. Will report fully on his plans for the ground etc. when I have more chance. PG

not sure about that. the beauty of the play offs is that they are one off games - anything can happen

Well the final is, but you would definitely back either Lewes or Eastbourne over the 2 legged semi-finals. So would be very surprised if the Sussex team wasn't in the final.
I'm not sure what there record is against the other 3 teams but you can always tell who the best teams in the division are by there goal difference.
Hampton & Richmond’s Goal Difference is only 18, which does show that they are quite constant at winning, but not conveniently.

Obviously its not a given, but it would be hard to go against the Sussex side in the Play-Offs, that’s why I reckon and back both to go up.

Can Eastbourne go up if they finish top - is the ground up to standard? If it's not no point in them finishing top and denying the mighty rook there place in the conference.

Yep there ground is okay for the Conference. Will need a little work but they can offer separate entrances and toilets etc.

Aren't the semi-finals just one-legged matches like in the rest of non-league with the higher placed team given home advantage?

And then even then they have to play-off against the play-off winner from the Conf North which wouldn't be easy.

Not at all. Lewes needed the victory more than County.

Newport are still comfortably set to achieve a play-off position. Six points behind the teams in 4th, 5th and 6th position, with three games in hand over two of them and two games to spare on the third.

Bottom 4 go down from the BSP, according to the beeb website.
