Unfortunately I'm busy on Tuesday, going to be watching a 20 year old clip of Gordon Strachan talking about eating yoghurt.
Last time I was there I was watching my lad in an u15s game. Can’t comment on the parents though as I always distanced myself away from others, much more enjoyable watching the match without standing near certain types shouting.

I think that’s right, but I may just check with my sister’s mum’s grandchild’s brother’s uncle. Yep, just checked with myself and that seems about right.

Thats exactly what we did . . . But they were so loud you couldn't help but hear.
At one point the ref stopped the game as he had to have a proper word with the linesman who was coaching/abusing and riling the ref all at the same time.
My sons given up club football, he was playing up a year anyway and there's no room for him in the lower year ( Shoreham basically said no to him even joining in training as they had too many players?!) so we told them to stick it. I can't say I miss it in the slightest.

No disgrace - they held out well for a long time.
When I went there I was right by the corner flag as far as possible from them, this 2 seasons back.
The last 3 seasons of youth football I started wearing headphones and listening to music, I got fed up with listening to idiots every Sunday morning.
I find it surprising that, in a county that includes such delights as Crawley and Whitehall (no offence!) Eastbourne scores so well in the vile parents stakes. Mind you, this is Langney, home to the worst boozer in the world, so maybe so.

I’ve been watching youth football for years, 2 sons now 22 and 17 both played from a young age. I would say I’ve seen good and bad parents watching many teams, I’ve stood away from parents of lads playing in the same teams as my sons, some of the mums can be as bad as the dads at shouting abuse and talking crap.
I would say that maybe some of the parents of kids from the Eastbourne team mentioned may not live in the area, a town up the road beginning with H has it’s fair share of riff raff
I remember one match watching my son at probably U9s, Rottingdean were the visitors, I was standing on my own watching the game and minding my own business and a Rottingdean parent asked if he could stand with me, he said he was embarrassed standing with his fellow parents
I’m sure not many of the parents of the Rottingdean kids that day actually lived in the village.

It's all a bit competitive at youth level for my taste. My son is better at other sports, so I've seen less of that and more of the 1st football teams to be fair. Not to say that doesn't get a bit lairy, but at the senior level it goes with the territory. Never understood some parents effing and jeffing, as if its going to help their boy.

Wasn't to bad then
Although I did know the barman,we were in DC together
