I always think that the day after recording a clean sheet in which the oppositions attacking threat was minimal is the best time to slag off one of our centre backs. If he is a club legend and hometown hero, all the better.

Carry on lads....
My bad. I bumped the thread with "Is he still shite, finished and need to be replaced by Igor or is he ok again now?" thinking that two very solid performances in a row would help people discover a brain somewhere among their crazy emotions, but clearly not.

Maybe I'll try again at the end of the season when he's captained the team to another decent finish in the best league in the world.

Was out for injury and didn't have the best game on his return, but was also made to play a role of sprinting half the pitch after young pacey attackers. At no point in history has that been his game.

True to form, one bad game and everyone had their typical bed wetting.

But, sure enough after a few games he's looking more like himself again.

Amazing, like most of our other players, after a few games and regular minutes they get better. Same is always the case for our defenders - Webster, Igor etc. or frankly any of our other newer players. Who'd have thought it? 🤔😂

I personally thought he played well yesterday. Not quite at the levels we've seen when he's at his best, but that's true of the whole squad atm.
