He had a camera shoved in his face a couple of minutes after the end of a match Chelsea ultimately lost. Sky wanted a reaction, they got it.

But he didn't have a camera shoved in his face. He was heading off the pitch and actually fought his way back to the camera to deliver his words of wisdom to the nation..

I can't think of any more like that!

Three penalties for me: foul on Malouda, foul on Drogba, and Pique handball. Red card was debatable too, as was the booking for Alves - which means they both miss the final (along with Darren Fletcher, for making a superb tackle). Woefully inadequate and weak refereeing... and terrible Uefa rules. Surely it is time for video assistance to help refs get things right? And for decisions to be overturned afterwards.

Half of me does sympathise with Chlesea, they didn't get a number of key decisions. The other half of me, however, says tough shit losers. You reap what you sow and all that Drogba play acting has finally worked agaisnt them.

Saying that they're all at it, so personally I couldn't care less which bunch of cheats wins the cup.

Drogba is a f***ing disgrace, and should be banned for the rest of the season. As for Ballack; he was even WORSE and should face severe punishment for his reaction towrds the referee.

Fair enough ONE decision went against Chelsea, the Pique hand ball. One equally bad decision went against Barcelona, and that was the sending off. The draw was Chelsea's own fault for inviting pressure onto themselves when 1-0 up.

Have not read all the post's yet, but the above sums it all up correctly, in my opinion.

The only obvious penalty denied to Chelsea was the Pique handball, and that would have been enough for them to win the tie imho. The Malouda one I'm pretty sure first contact was outside the area even though he actually went down inside. The Drogba one, hmm, probably his reputation went before him, but quite frankly it's a bit of lottery with refs giving or not giving those sort of the decisions. The last handball claim wasn't and Ballack is a disgrace.

If I were a chelsea fan I'd be outraged, but I'm not and I find the whole thing totally hilarious.

Ballack, Terry and Drogba should all have the book thrown at them for the way they behaved.

From an English point of view, what kind of example does it set when the England captain behaves like that? Kids are going to see stuff like that, then go and play football for their teams at the weekend thinking that behaviour like that (which, for the record, I hate to see from ANY players, whoever they play for) is acceptable in the game.

Barca were lucky to get away with the Pique handball, granted, but the other two penalty claims (particularly the one after they scored, when the player was turning away from the ball and it hit him on his tricep) were dubious at best, no matter how much the Sky commentators ranted to the contrary, and the worst decision of the whole game IMO was the sending off of Abidal. The referee had a shocking game, but he was equally bad both ways (the booking of Alves being another example), so Chelsea really can't justify their complaints that way.

I suspect that Hiddink, as a respected and experienced manager, will probably have been more than slightly embarrassed by the way some of his players behaved last night, and it doesn't exactly reflect well on football in England when that's the reaction to a defeat for one of the top sides in the country.

I sort of agree with him.

They could have a case. UEFA and blatter have always hated England and the thought of having another all English final would have made their blood boil. I still think him and a few others should be banned.

What is this crap about UEFA and Blatter hating England? Blatter works for FIFA so had nothing to do with the Champions League. Granted Chelsea should have had 1 or 2 penalties last night but Barcelona didn't get all the decisions either - the red card, for example. Part of the excitement of football comes from the referee's decisions. Sometimes you get the luck and sometimes you don't.

What about the first leg? I don't think even the most biased Chelsea fan could say that the referee was a homer in the Nou Camp.

If there's any banning, it should be Ballack, Drogba and perhaps Terry. Their behaviour was appalling and embarrassing. I would find it impossible to support Brighton if our players behaved like that.

Mmmmmmmmm. Rule One. When you lose shake your opponents hand, say well done and good luck in the next match.

Anything else makes you look a fool.

It aint easy at any level of football. But Chelsea do not come out of this looking hard done by. They come out looking like spoilt children who have not learnt how to accept defeat.

To be fair to Sky, Drogba actually went looking for the camera - although they didn't need to re-show it after an ad break, with the volume turned up, and then have Richard Keys pretending it was an accident. Who did they have vision mixing and editing? Some lad on work experience? Surely they just bleep it, or run it without the crass apology (as it was after the watershed) and take the complaints on the chin.

The vision mixer will only have been doing what the director told him to, same for the sound person. It's probably the producer or editor who should have ensured it was bleeped or turned down.

Get off his back, imagine Brighton in the play off final to go up to premiership in the Championship..or whatever final... and the ref turned down some very obvious penalties resulting in a defeat.

I imagine he and the team are completely angry, admittedly he missed chances but from a neutral point of view, I feel they were completely robbed and Platini has his wish in that the final will not have two english teams.

No i dont like Drogba but his reaction in my view is 100% understandable as that ref was NOT up to the job last night!

I couldn't agree more.

I didn't see them complaining about the dodgey sending off. Spoilt, primadonnas. I would like to see Terry stripped of the England capataincy if he does not publically apologise.

It is upsetting that even when kids play football in the park you see diving, a lack of respect and over the top reactions when something doesn't go their way. They do this because they see their premiership 'heroes' doing exactly the same week-in-week-out. This generation of footballers have a lot to answer for.

Oh well, same old Chelsea, always cheating.
