Why get a player in on loan who isn't fit to start games. Why? Isn't this something we should find out before we loan a player. By the time he is match fit it will be time for him to go back.
For what its worth he looked sharp when he came on against Watford although he hardly saw any of the ball.
Barnes played better than he has done recently against Watford but his touch is never going to be that good and he missed the great headed chance in the first half. If I had a choice of Lita or Barnes up front for the rest of the season I would go for Lita as Barnes has had plenty of chnaces. Hopefully the Argie will be back soon.

The reason he isn't match fit is that he hasn't been playing matches. We knew that. It's what happens with most loan players. They are only available for loans because they're not being used at their parent club.
Barring a barnstorming performance from Ashley today (or injury/red card to Lita), I would expect Lita to start next week.
