Same team as Monday. I'm surprised Barnes is starting again. I know he did ok on Monday but he really didn't look a goal threat so I would have likes to see Lita start.

Doubt Lita would last long enough to start. Ash'll do the job.
C'mon Albion.

Lita must be fit enough for a start by now. We are desperate for goals yet play a striker who has failed to score in 11 league appearances this season.

I am not listening to the commentary today. Just SSN only. I cant listen to that moronic pis*ant commentator and oaf sidekick of his. Surprised Lita is not starting today though.

It's not all about scoring, but yeah he could do with a goal. He won't score by starting on the bench though and did a fine job up against three big defenders on Monday. KTF

Can someone explain to me how Lita and other professional fooballers are not "match fit"?

I can understand a pub team player missing a couple of games, and then needing a couple to retain fitness, but a professional footballer? Surely 90 mins of sprints twists jumps and lunges on ones own can emulate the physical demands?

I usually listen to the other sides' commentators now - easier to get some kind of perspective on what is really going on, depending on how partisan they are however.

I agree it's not always about scoring but a 15 game goal drought in the league for a striker is horrendous and does not justify a starting place.

I think Virgo is on today (from what he said on Sky on Monday).

What about 10 game (seven starts, three sub appearances totally an equivalent of seven and a third matches) drought when only one other recognised striker is available and he isn't fit enough to start?
