I see he is still threatening to buy/takeover Greenland.
He seems to want to take over Canada with economic force and Greenland by whatever force necessary. It's all a board game. Today was astonishing, even by his standards.

I think in these uncertain times, we in Europe should form some kind of economic union together. It would be better to be part of a wider group of nations rather than have vulnerabilities of economic solitude.

Oh...

Do we have a list of all the things he said he would do on his first day in office.

And one to list what he has actually done.

I really hope Trump goes through with his "threat" to not allow the flags to be half-mast at his inauguration ( as they should be due to J. Carter's death )

It would mean that people looking back in 100 or 200 years time would know what a tool Trump was.
I don't think that'll make any difference.

He's off his head.

Wouldn't that be lovely?
But he's going to be around for 4 years.

My only prediction is that Elon Musk won't be alive in 4 years.
I think they’ll 25th amendment him and Vance is the pet of the tech bros, who will just do whatever they want. Trump was the vessel they used to get in, now he’s served his purpose they’ll give him a pardon, pat him on the head and let him go and play golf in Florida for the rest of his days.

He's not actually in office yet though, in spite of all the gibbering.

Just far enough away from LDC
Listening to his speech today, he has lost his f***ing mind!
The worrying thing is, he hasn't. When he said about hamas, he turned to his envoy to the middle east and said ' I don't want to harm your negotiations but.......'

You don't say that when you are deranged or mentally unwell. It is actually his considered opinion and he is aware of the consequences

Trump has a bat-shit mental and venal vice president ready to slip into his wife if he dies.

Sorry, shoes. I meant shoes.

Not so much a Trumpism, but I do find it quite sad that he'll (probably) be the President during the Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) Independence celebrations.

On the other hand maybe he's the right president to represent the decline of America from the lofty ideals of the Founding Fathers.

Brighton factually.....
From the BBC News website;

US President-elect Donald Trump has threatened "very high" tariffs on Denmark if it resists his effort to take control of Greenland, an autonomous Danish territory.

Asked during a news conference Tuesday if he would rule out using military or economic force in order to take control of the strategically-important island, he said: "No, I can't assure you on either of those two."

"I can say this, we need them for economic security," he said.

Trump also said he would use "economic force" against Canada and called the US-Canada border an "artificially drawn line".

Could be Putin talking about Ukraine.
But it is not Putin it is the leader of the free world and democracy free from religious dogma, a sovereign & tyranny.
Well played America it took under 249 to completely mess up a great idea.

I wonder what we and the rest of Europe would do if he did try and claim Canada or Greenland, surely we would stand with Denmark and Canada over this.

Musk is the dangerous one, now meddling in our affairs because he knows we can influence not only some Americans but also Europeans.
Alienate us and our influence around the world which despite what many claim is still important and respected, job done for Musk.

There is something about him, pseudokhristos springs to mind, I have a feeling there are dark secrets in his past that could be his demise.

There's some slightly mad stuff alleged about potential electronic voting fraud in swing states that would need someone with access to a lot of the best technology infrastructure, huge sums of money, and a way to hide it that amplifies that sense of danger. Remember Musk saying that if Trump lost the election he was in big trouble? It was an odd statement at the time but in light of some of the info since maybe he gave something away?

I first heard about it in September when Trump's confidence - and all the markets - suddenly started to suggest he was going to win and already knew it. Always impossible to separate conspiracy from fact but the story is that in order to investigate the alleged but unfounded fraud in the 2020 election Trump's team demanded and got access to voting machine software (this seems to be true and an unprecedented breach in election security), that the machines themselves aren't offline and as unhackable as is claimed (also seems to be true - apparently a USB stick with the right code on it is all that's needed if you have access to one).

I read an article that stated a concerned group of computer scientists had claimed as many as 70% of machines were compromised when they investigated (I don't know if this is true, I can't find a source). There's also a claim that electronic votes in swing states showed some unusual patterns and behaviour that are worthy of further investigation not least because it only happened in those swing states, and in some cases only in the most tightly contested areas of those states (I think this is true from what I've read) and a manual count has been recommended however this won't happen until after inauguration by which time it's too late.

It's scary stuff - he's comes across like a super villain already, and if any of the above is true and he was involved then it's incredibly dangerous for the world.
