So the official US policy in Gaza is now essentially ethnic cleansing?

Essentially Elon musk has got into everyone’s personal data and there is no oversight what he will do with it so no one knows what he is up to.
Unlike some of the gibbering fools exec orders this is genuinely scary. From what I’ve read he’s allowed unfettered access to possibly the most sensitive financial database in US government to a group of unelected individuals including EM who of course now has insight not only into many people’s personal data but also the commercial dealing of countless government contractors. Kinnell.

He’s doing what he always does. Threaten everyone and hope that one of his targets gives in. When they don’t he’ll back off and then say he’s got what he wants.
Once the rest of the world finally realises he’s full of shit then he’ll wind his neck in.
But, but - he surely knows more about Gaza than anyone. He's met important historians and politicans who have been amazed by the amount he knows about Gaza and what it needs.

Not sure if it's already be mentioned on this thread but apparently the FBI have been forced to hand over the names of everyone involved in the investigation and prosecution following Jan 6 storming of the capital. That doesn't bode well!

It does seem pretty much every mainstream media organisation in the US is now compromised. From the New York Times to MSMBC.

Amazed how no one has been prepared to stand strong and call out the lies and misinformation. It’s happened incredibly quickly. Sadly, it’s accelerating the decline of legacy media.

Wake up everyone we’ll be next if we don’t watch it

Why are they all waving Mexican flags? Would you be waving the Union Jack if you lived in the USA?
I’m not sure if this fully answers your question, but we should remember that Nevada used to be Mexican territory. Some people of Mexican ancestry contend that they didn’t walk over the border; the border walked over them. This is without getting into Trump’s xenophobic animus against Mexicans: that definitely might provoke some defiant flag waving.

so US is part funding BBC news activity?? basically it's being shown USAID is a slush fund for any old purpose the US government of the day, or days gone by and forgotten about. which doesn't come as a total surprise, however is annoyingly making conspiracy nutjobs say "told you so" and giving them fuel for their next claim.

Isnt this:

"the BBC’s international charity"

Which is:

"completely separate from BBC News, and wholly reliant on our donors and supporters to carry out our work"

And Remember the Alamo!
It was nothing like the idealised American "good guys" version as portrayed in John Wayne's film version.

Texas had been part of Mexico and the Texans were US immigrants who were revolting against the Mexican government, who incidentally had banned slavery which the immigrants from the US wanted to maintain.

That was one of the principle reasons for the Texan revolt and their "heroic" defence of the Alamo. So when people actually do remember the Alamo their memory has been somewhat skewed and sanitised.

If you follow it you'll find it's an independent charity, much of it's income actually comes from the UK Government.

Up till April 2014 the World Service was funded by the foreign office.

Any idea how much money the US Government subsidises private corporations ?

The power shift out there since the 1980s means that's the only way it gets them to do anything.
