Trump's exploitation of his presidency for his own personal gain knows no boundaries.
He recently took credit for brokering the ceasefire in Gaza, but it appears that now that he's spotted an opportunity for further personal enrichment his faith in the ceasefire which he was so keen to take full credit for has suddenly and quickly started to wane.
He's now suggesting to completely clear out the Gaza strip and relocate over a million Palestinians to other neighbouring countries (which obviously doesn't include the US).
Once cleared his plan is to have the Gaza strip developed which he "might be able to have a role in". Of course he might, no doubt through the use of his own real estate companies.
Of course Trump had already identified Gaza as a prime piece of real estate location when his son in law Jared paid a visit there in 2024.
Trump has also offered to "help" build new housing for the displaced Palestinians which Trump himself has suggested, “could be temporary” or "could be permanent". I think we know which option he might favour, so not necessarily a guaranteed long term solution for the "refugees" . The cost of building the new, possibly only temporary, housing for the relocated refugees would of course be peanuts compared to the lucrative returns gained from the potential development of Gaza where their homes currently are.
Of course Trump has a history of forcing people out of their homes to further his business interests long before he was President when he built his golf course in Scotland, but with his new found power this is taking things to a whole new level of callous opportunitism, and this time cynically trying to cloak it under the veil of humanitarianism.....
Saw the other day a Trump speech of him complaining about " Other nations releasing their violent criminals and murderers in our great country. "When Trump quotes murderers not going to prison, can someone enlighten me as to what he's going on about?

I know Gaza supporters who refused to vote for "genocide Joe" (FFS) felt like they were being asked to vote for the lesser of two evils. But this is what the bigger evil looks like.Trump's exploitation of his presidency for his own personal gain knows no boundaries.
