If its a straight numbers game its easier to rig manipulating demographics.
Eh? A short while ago you were telling us that the Democrats were rigging elections by manipulating demographics by the means of flying immigrants to 'purple states'. Surely this means it's easier to rig by manipulating demographics through the current electoral college system. If it was a straight numbers game there would be no point/need to fly immigrants into purple states because their vote would count wherever they were.

You seem a little confused on this matter?

He's just plain wrong.

That's obviously nonsense. Under the electoral college system Trump only needs to rig the vote by a few tens of thousands of votes in 2 or 3 states to steal the election For example the 80,000 odd votes he asked Raffensburger to "find" in Georgia. Whereas he would have had to "find" over 7 million to steal the popular vote.

Which is why the left likes mass immigration, that method of Democracy would already be rigged towards a permanent Democrat president if in use.

That also works the other way as well by removing or preventing people from voting, the Democrats did that as well under Jim Crow laws.

Maybe there IS hope with Trump. In a rare showing of fair-mindedness he tempered his boast of out-driving former golf great Arnold Palmer by admiting locker room gossip has it that Palmer has a huge cock and that he is "all man".

What next? Lyin' Kamala is a communist but her gym buddies say she has a cracking pair of tits?

Trump won't last long as President will he ? His mental/physical health won't last the 4 years.

So that would mean President Vance. Is that a good prospect ?

No the straight democracy argument was a hypothetical to show why a constituency system was less corruptible.

Even though Palmer has been dead for 8 years.

If people want to go and live in a different country - and that results in a change in the way people vote in the long run; isn't that just Democracy in action?

But I'm puzzled by your mention of the Jim Crow laws. The Jim Crow laws suppressed the African-American vote. Isn't that precisely what you are in favour of - those pesky immigrant-types not being allowed to vote??

People do go and live in a different country the issue is how many the Government decide to let in and for what motives.

The blacks were not immigrants.

A political party opening borders in a calculating way to naturalise then give the vote to a cohort of immigrants to game the system, why is this a difficult concept to grasp?

"African-Americans" were NOT immigrants? ? Are you sure? Why do you think they have the word 'African' in their description?

Is Harris 'adored' by many? My observation is that she is celebrated as a serious and realistic candidate for the role, unlike the frivolously pathetic performance of the opposition. Strongly analogous to Starmer vs. the Tories.
To use a football analgy it's the answer most football supporters gave in the first 20 odd years of the Premier league in August to "who do you want to win the league this year" - Anybody but Man Utd

Vance would enact 'Project 2025', which even Trump has distanced himself from.

So in a word, no.

He previously praised Trump during the forest fires and covid

There is enough to go at him for rather than finding evidence to counter what Newsome says here, helps Trump no end

Newsome however should have been the nominee and I imagine will be at the next election, I imagine he would have been miles ahead of Trump now.

Musk spending a million a day to get voters to sign up to his pro-Trump petition. Those who sign the petition - which pledges to support free speech and gun rights - ‘will have to give their contact details, potentially allowing AmericaPAC to contact them about their vote’.

As I mentioned above - swing voters (the target here) generally treat Musk with suspicion and distrust and he is possibly wasting a lot of money mainly preaching to the converted.🙂

“A recent NBC News poll found that just 31% of independents view Musk positively. That said, the billionaire is fairly popular with Republican voters. The poll found 62% of GOP voters have positive feelings about Musk, though only 7% of Democrats said the same.”

Surely this can't be legal. Basically buying votes!

No, personally I don’t see how it can be (although I’m not that familiar with federal law on election spending - I do know there are very strict campaign finance laws in the US (that was part of the indictments on the Stormy Daniels case against Trump’s lawyer, Cohen, who it was argued exceeded campaign finance spending by paying her off to help Trump’s 2016 election)

Federal laws make it illegal to give money to people to sign a petition requiring them to be registered to vote - Musks SuperPAC has made it clear that those who sign the petition could be contacted about their vote.

If it’s not illegal, Musk is treading a very fine line imo given his proximity to Trump’s campaign.
