And yet a large proportion of US 'adults' will probably still vote for him. It's simply beyond belief 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s a few linked things.

Almost one half of adults don’t vote. Of those who do, there’s a hardcore 75m who’d vote hell or high water Republican. They expertly draw out every single vote, including 36m who are registered Republicans. If you believe in low taxation, you vote without fail. Many may hold their nose up at Trump’s nastiness, felonies and treachery with Putin, but they simply can’t vote for another party that openly espouses a social net paid for by the better off.

But the middle class were tricked. Trump presided over $2t of tax cuts, it was the top 1% who gained the lions share.

As of 2 days ago, USA Betting Markets showed Kamala Harris as the slight-favourite across major USA Betting sites (Bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, Sports Interaction, and Bet Victor). Interestingly (to me), this shift happened shortly after the Musk/Trump conversation on X/Twitter.
- Prior to 2 days ago, Trump and Harris were largely neck and neck across the majority of those markets.

I am very interested in their upcoming debate, I think it'll decide the next President.

I don't. He was old, and then became president. He should have stepped down (from the coming election) earlier (although I'm not sure it's hurt the party's chances that he didn't).
I think the timing of his stepping down worked quite well as it completely stole the thunder of the assassination attempt which which very briefly was working in Trump's favour but was swiftly forgotten by virtue of Kamala's emergence.

It could have worked the other way round if Biden had stepped down just two weeks earlier and the Kamala effect would have been destroyed by the assassination attempt.

Are you talking about Trump claiming that they're bringing covid lockdowns back? I don't know if you're being serious. It's real. AI isn't that good yet.
Haha, Trump just looks fake in it. It's weird, specially his lip movements. perhaps he's an AI in any case, it would explain a lot.

Another day, another press conference, another load of WTF moments....

A biglier number than 100%...... You really couldn't write this stuff and get away with it - but here it is, really being spoken by a presidential candidate. It just defies belief.

However, it's nice to hear that US migrants are knuckling down and working. Apparently over here in the UK they just come over for the benefits.....

Elsewhere in his speech he said that Kamala had made the mortgage rate go from 2% to 10% (or more). It's actually about 6% in the US. He just can't help but lie. And apparently San Francisco is now unliveable in because of her.

This bit is apparently true.

San Francisco is now completely empty. Nobody there anymore at all. Just empty streets and empty houses. Mad isn't it?

Saw a video the other day about him playing golf - he just lies all the time. He boasts about how many club championships he has won but when he opens a new course, he plays the first round on his own and then declares that a championship. The caddies admit to having pockets full of balls to drop when he knocks one out of bounds. No wonder he gets on with "Rocketman" so well. Although a game of golf between them would be interesting.
