I’ve done about 20 Greyhound tracks, probably abut 16 of them don’t exist anymore.

but that’s nothing to do with this thread is it?
No, but interesting nevertheless. I’ve been to Romford and Hove (obviously). We were supposed to go to Sheffield dogs early 90s but spent the evening in hospital instead so I’m not sure that counts. What’s the dogs’ equivalent to the 92 ?

12 confiscated from my list as I went to the old ground but not the new ones. Factor in the teams no longer in the 92 now and I am a paltry 44

That’s the one.
Spurs is a good example of different grounds. I’ve seen us play them in three different grounds.
I have seen them at 3 home grounds - but not the new one. WHL, Wembley and the Goldstone in the Intertoto

Probably only about 20 remain, the 80s when I used to go regularly there was probably in excess of fifty. I think there was about ten in London alone, I think the only “London” tracks that remain are Romford and Crayford (and yes I am fully aware of their actual location)

There are 23 tracks in uk, there is 1 in Wales and unfortunately zero now in Scotland. If you get another chance go back to Owlerton stadium Sheffield great racing there and a fantastic restaurant at the track. They have a great comp called the 3 steps where dogs run 3 different distances.

I’ve been to 92 grounds in total of which 47 are in the current PL/EFL 92. The balance are grounds that are no longer used, plus quite a few in Europe.

I did mine over a couple of winter nights. I've got all the individual teams logs. Although memory may have lost the odd one.

Never been to Arsenal, Manchester United, Everton or Manchester City. My away days were mainly late 80s and 90s.

trouble is the 92 has changed so much over the course of my lifetime alone, you’ve really got to extend it to include 5 divisions at least. Even then, I’ve been to Chester, Hereford and Bury as league clubs who aren’t even in the Conference now. Yet not been to several PL grounds, old or new versions.
I officially finished the 92 in the early 80's at Torquay. Since then everything has changed, but Futbology has re focused me and I am currently 7 away from the current 92 which I hope to do in the next couple of years. Another 8 to finish the National League. I have seen Albion on 138 (League, League Cup, FA Cup and Europa) No Teapot, Friendlies, Oddball pre season tournaments, U21 count on the stats.

To clarify you do not need to buy a programme, circumnavigate the ground from an easterly direction, take a dump, or buy a pie.
You do need to see a game to the conclusion, no slopping off before the final whistle. Latest arrival (Tottenham 78 was 17 minutes late)
Yes I did have a hand written ledger through until 2010 after which matches got the excel treatment, now backed up on Futbology.

Our rules are the current 92 grounds
1) new grounds have to be visited. It’s grounds not clubs after all.
2) Grounds which have dropped out of the football league, but got promoted back in, can be included again.
3) Grounds visited outside the FL can be included if they get promoted to the FL.
4) Full game has to be witnessed.

One debate we did have was when Bournemouth was significantly rebuilt and pitch was rotated 90 degrees. We decided this was a new ground.

3) has played a part in my attempt to visit all the Michelin starred restaurants in Berlin as I visited Hallman and Klee twice before it was awarded its star….I will visit again but I already include it in my list.

Bootham Crescent was notable (88 promotion season) broke down en route but got there at half time. I’m counting it though.
Under our rules you will be disqualified from including Bootham Crescent not just because of rule 4), but 1) as well.

Doing Chesterfield on Friday and also booked up Bromley for their Carabao cup game next week - leaving just Fleetwood and Morecambe
Anyhoo re: my post above (#72) I’ve never been one for rules and regulations and until recently (despite having a high count of league and non league grounds have never counted them up) haven’t shown a massive interest in doing the 92

However, my son IS a “Rule book Ronnie” and he’s keen to do the 92 properly.

He broke his duck yesterday as a series of short notice events left him “mateless” for QPR, I expected him to drop out but he went alone for the first time (he’s 15)

Why am I quoting the above post? Well as I missed QPR with him and as it’s school holiday inspired by this we’re also off to Bromley (North Stand) See you there! (Coincidentally we’re also doing Fleetwood v Gillingham this month)

Not to mention it’s not even one of the 92 at present! However, yes I am aware of rule 1 but on my personal list if/when I do one, I’m counting it.
I’ve left everything to memory and the only ground I’m not sure I’ve been to or not is Wick, I think I went there with Peacehaven but not sure if I dreamt it. (Are the bar/changing rooms like a house in the corner?)

I think that’s pretty much the rules of football ground map.com, perhaps apart from 4). I’m up to 113 grounds now after yesterday’s FA Cup game at Colne. Of these, only 59 are currently part of the 92 as so many have dropped into non league. The grounds I go to now have so much more character than football league grounds so that ratio will only increase.

131 with only 72 of the current 92. Really need the Albion to be drawn away in both cups to teams which I have yet to visit.

Up to 70 of the current 92 after seeing Harrogate Town v MK Dons last night. A whipping for the home side sadly.

Did get to see a very assured Tom McGill in the franchise goal though.

I was five minutes late having got up at 4am to drive to Hartlepool. That's staying in !

There are no rules. The memories are for me. I don't do it as a competition. It was all for personal enjoyment.

I've been to Carlisle and Hartlepool. But never been to Old Trafford or Arsenal. I quite like that.
