Good story but more significant is the use of a genius word in the article.

"vivarium"

A vivarium (Latin, literally for "place of life"; plural: vivaria or vivariums) is an area, usually enclosed, for keeping and raising animals or plants for observation or research.

There are various forms of vivarium, including:

Aquarium, simulating a water habitat.

Insectarium, containing insects, arachnids, and other similar arthropods.

Formicarium, with species of ants.

Terrarium, simulating a dry habitat, for instance desert or savannah.

Penguinarium, containing penguins.

Was up on Mill hill Shoreham last week walking Buckley The Dog when I bumped into a Cobra, sent the pic to the zoo, not heard back yet

It is: black adders aren't all that rare. Last week was pretty early to be emerging from hibernation though, particularly as it hasn't been that warm

Maybe he had a cunning plan?

Its amazing what Dog Walker finds when he's out

This, to the power of ten.

Dog Walker found me mate lying by his bike up on The Downs, half an hour before darkness fell, freezing mid-December a couple of years back. Mate had had a heart attack, had his phone with him but couldn't make his arm move enough to reach it. Without Dog Walker, he wouldn't have survived the night.

Blessed are the Dog Walkers. IMHO, like.

Of course many people get confused with so many 'aruims'. For example the Fanarium where researches study the behaviour of fans and a Fannyarium where.... well I'm sure you can guess.
