Thomson in my opinion has been very poor for us, everytime i see him he offer absolutely nothing. What is he?? defensive midfielder? hardly protects the back four, cant pass forwards, poor distribution.

I think people expected him to be good and are still clinging on to that hope.

Like i said, i would hope Loft gets no where near the squad, but at the moment, im afraid he does.

Funnily enougha guy behind me said something similar, and I suggested he watch just Thomson rather than the game for five minutes. His view was Thomson doesn't do anything spectacular but he gets the job done.

Don't know what people expected but he was hardly going to be Ronaldo was he?

Lucky 5 mintues!!!

Seriously even thomsons short passes are poor. His choice of pass is shocking. Hopefully he will improve next season.

I think we can do better than Loft, so no new contract.

If Wilkins has the bottle to admit the playoff hunt is over and give Loft a chance then base it on that. Has looked good when he's come on in a few away games this year, deserves a couple of starts really

Sorry, but why play the sympathy card? We've all seen what Loft can do by now. Just like we've seen what Gatting can do. They're in the same position Elder was, and, to a slightly lesser extent, Revell. None of them have/had any serious place in an Albion set-up that has any kind of ambition to move on up to better things. They might fit in somewhere else, like Elder seems to have done at Brentford. But not here. Not now.
