First time playing today and got a score of 79. I was quite chuffed with that until I scrolled down and saw the typical scores people are getting.
Remember you can use letters multiple times, use the bonus letter wisely, don't waste attempts on short obvious words of you can avoid them, pluralise, add -ed, -er, -less, -less, -ise and so on.First time playing today and got a score of 79. I had a word today where the highlighted letter was an 'S' & I managed to use it 5 times in one word so I got a bonus of 25 points.First time playing today and got a score of 79. I was quite chuffed with that until I scrolled down and saw the typical scores people are getting.
That's superb. I learnt something from you today. I didn't realise that you got bonus points for multiple use of the highlighted letter. I used to make sure I used it each time for the bonus, but now, I make a list of the potential words I intend to use, then wait for a highlighted letter which appears more than once in one of my words and use that. I'm sure I would have got 70 less points today if I hadn't. Thank you.488 for me. Top score but feel I could cracked the 500 with more care and less haste (and beer).
Really enjoy playing this..thanks for the recommendation..my scores to date are way too low to postEnjoying this much more than Wordle these days. More skill, less chance

The more you do, the better you'll get. Make a list of as many words as you can before you start entering them, and save the ones with multiple same letters until that letter is highlighted. Always look at all the words after you've finished playing to see the ones you could have got. You'll start learning some that come up time after time when certain sets of letters appear. One word that I learnt that you can have quite often is PEPPERTREE.Really enjoy playing this..thanks for the recommendation..my scores to date are way too low to post
