I can't really vote on this poll because I really don't know.
I know we have enough squad wise, to stay up. But the facts don't lie, if we don't turn this around soon, we will go down.
That sums up my feelings as well. We shouldn't but I will not be even a little suprised if we go down, coupled with a thrashing at Wembley by Scunthorpe.
Heart tells me we will escape the drop though.....
I've voted 'No', as on balance I think we're still in a better position than Orient. But we could EASILY go down on current form. One way or another, we'll have a much better idea once we've played the jellied-eel merchants at The Muchroom.
Well we just played 2 home games getting beat 4-2 by a team that lost 3-1 at home yesterday to Yeovil and getting beat by Carlisle yesterday who are in the lower half of the table so where are the 6 or 7 wins we need to stay up coming from ?
We've had plenty of time to identify what's going wrong and sort it out, but even with decent, new players we are still seeing the same old stuff; players out of position, poor set pieces, few or no shots on target etc. That's not down to bad luck, it's down to coaching. The Cheltenham game was the last one I saw and that "performance" convinced me that the writing was on the wall. Many of our lower-half rivals (Colchester, Swindon, Carlisle, Walsall, Crewe, Orient, Hartlepool) made changes to address poor form and league position, and are now pulling away. We've stuck with our backroom team and, for me, they haven't been able to turn it round. We've got some decent new players in who may yet have an impact, but I'm afraid I don't think we'll beat Luton and I don't think we'll stay up. I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't trust this side to win "must-win" games.
Any new manager will have to have a big impact quickly. I don't think that's impossible as I believe the players we have are MUCH better than the league position. But the stark facts of how many wins we'd need to reach 50ish points is quite frightening. If Adams stays we'll go down.
