The kit is truly horrific. It looks cheap, badly designed and very poor quality. The seagull shaped blob beggars belief. How about asking the fans next time ....

It's bad enough that we have to play at Withdean but now we are going to look like a pub team on Hackney Marshes on a Sunday morning ...

To be honest most people that wear football shirts have got no idea about style. The previous two shirts (collars and design) would not be worn by most people that have got any idea about what looks good and the only reason that most people have got one is because it’s a Brighton shirt.
I have previously always gone for the casual retro shirts like old 80’s yellow away shirt but looking at this new shirt I am definitely going to purchase one for the first time in ages.
Get out of the dark ages fellas !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said, I never used to wear the old shirts to games or out of the house but I could actually see myself buying one of these for occasional dossing casual wear, down the supermarket, kick abouts etc etc.

Dont like the new colour. They have tried different colours before and always returned or near enough so maybe it will just mean another 'new' colour will follow in forthcoming seasons ......... but we have to fund the extended Falmer campaign somehow and every bit helps.

wqearing your teams strip as not about bloody style, it's about showing your colurs and who you support - if you think wearing a football strip is trendy then I'm sorry you need a serious look at yourself!!!!

Me I'm not convinced,a s for the Argentina in disguise fine by me, they have had some of the greatest players in the world.....

Not a fan of no badge, but collar OK and I think the light blue will grow on me, although would prefer darker.

Don't like the colour at all. Tinker with the design, but please leave the traditional blue alone. It'll be interesting to see what the largest ladies size will be. Most of the t Shirts in the club shop only go up to a size 14 & are no good for me & I'm a 16 - which incidentially is the average size for women in this country. I suppose I could always go back to my favourite XXXL:lolol:

JMC you are being a bit short sighted if you think that the football shirt should not designed to wear casually by almost anyone. Not everyone blindly buys a clubs shirt whatever it is some people actually consider whether they like it or not.
Think you had better have a serious look at yourself mate and join the real world!!!

Exactly - there's been that many kits over the years that we can all wear the ones we like the most. At Cardiff there was every kit we've played in over the last 25 years on display.

You don't have to be seen in the latest design if you don't like it - stick to your Centenary shirt if thats your favourite.

Personally I think the new design is great (much better than the last kit) and I reckon it will grow on the doubters.

Well done Dick Knight (again) but you're always gonna get stick whatever you do. Some of the people on here just love to whinge about anything

i think the new 'argentina' design could prompt a mass leon knight diving spree, but this time with added rolling,

would also like to see more hairbands in the team, that would complete the image

It's going to be a matter of personal choice and if it makes the club more money then great, but some things should be sancrosanct and I think our blue in the home shirt is one of those things. By all means tinker around with the design and change the colour of the away shirts, but don't change the colour of the home shirt that clearly.

Well said sir!

There is only one blue in Brighton! The other blues have been proven to be unsuitable!:lolol:

I like the style of it. Not convinced about the colour blue though.

But then I never buy replica shirts so not too bothered as long as we manage to stay up!

I think it is a grower - I wasn't sure when I first saw the pic this morning but the more I look at it the better it seems. I think I will get one as I did not buy the previous one.

So over 75% of Albion fans think the new shirt is okay (or better).

That's probably a higher percentage than the 02/04 shirt (people moaned about the changed Skint logo, collar, white patch on back etc etc).
