So over 75% of Albion fans think the new shirt is okay (or better).

with net access and subscribed to NSC yes, but thats nothing what the wider picture could look like, sure enough its a good indication but chuck another 1000 fans votes in and it could change drastically!

I never usually criticise the club in any way, shape or form. So it may suprise you when I say I hate the new kit! It's awful! We are Blue! I don't mind light blue but there is far to much white. There should be more blue! The skint design sucks. The seagull is poor. Urgggh. :nono:

Should have a badge IMHO.

one in the club shops window has a badge on the lower left front (if wearing it)

I think its a very brave decision by DK. Im sure he knew there would be uproar about the colour/badge etc but as has already been said there is very little you can do with blue & white stripes.
While personally im against changing the colour, Dick has obviously wagered that sales with be higher with a differnt blue. the last 3 shirts have been practically identical. going into a new division with higher wages & demands the club has to make as much money as it can, especially with the restraints of withdean.

However i do think it is a big risk. by removing the badge & changing the colour our identity has changed. When you look at the stands it will look like 2 differnt teams with both the old & the new on display

Those of you who thought that the fans should have had a vote on the design/colour of the shirt try and think back a couple of years when we were all encouraged to log onto another teams website to vote for the most hideous kit they had (just for a laugh you understand ??? )

What is a traditional Brighton shirt?

I really hope that Dick doesn't think that way. I kinda object to being thought of as a 'dumb punter' who will part with his money for a different colour of polyester.

IMHO Albion play in royal blue and always should. Fashion is temporary, style and tradition is permanent.

FFS, the colour hasn't changed - it's still blue, just a lighter shade! I don't know what all the fuss is about. Anyway, I think it's great, better than the ones before! I'l certainly buy it and hope it stays that colour!

I was one of the doubters about the change of colour, but to be fair it looks quite cool. I am going to buy one cause I am a faithful albion fan through and through and any money raised for the club is good money raised in my eyes. I just wished they had kept the club badge. thats my only gripe but all in all i like it.:)

I am going to buy it, and get Marradona on the back.

I don't mind the lighter shade of blue, but of what I saw in the Argus the design didn't look good.

Poor old Crabtree - nobody reads his posts

The club badge is still there. It is on the lower front part of the shirt
