If I'm replying to something or just putting an opinion on a thread; I will more often than not remove my subscription to that thread.
I then just forget about it & don't concern myself with some f***-knuckle's abuse or juvenile attempts at starting an argument.

Some of like the grumpy old man style. Agreeing/disagreeing is irrelevant, the most important thing I think is treating people with respect.
