Drive past the goldstone site. It’s taken some doing.

Leave the ground, head shaking, having spent £40 on a ticket, in the 84th minute as some childlish ‘protest’ because the team isn’t having a good day.

Cheat on my Mrs. Had it done to me and it's one of the scummiest things you could do to someone you supposedly love and respect.
Lie. One of my biggest peevs is being called dishonest.
Date a woman who smokes.
Buy a half and half scarf.

So you would cheat on your Mrs if the other woman didn't smoke :moo:

I suppose not being unfaithful, not stealing and not crossing a picket line would be up there

When I was single, many years ago, I had a list of 'must nots' for next partner.

She must not smoke
Must not be a Tory
Must not be more than 10 years younger
Must not be a lawyer
Must not be overly religious
Must not support Man U (this was in the early days of the PL, it would probably be Big Six if I did it now)

Mrs Gwyland was most amused when I told her the list (after we'd been together sometime), particularly as she'd only given up smoking the year before she met me

Lie - apart from anything else, you have to remember what you lie about.
Vote Conservative - people matter more than money.
Cheat.
Watch Strictly or the Eurovision Song Contest.
Buy anything Dyson - arch hypocrite Brexiter….. and it’s all ridiculously overpriced.
Be a petrolhead.
Listen to the Archers.

Vote Tory
Never use the C word in front of a lady ( and I don’t mean Crystal Palace )

Funny how the 'never vote for a Tory' crops up regularly, yet I'm just beginning to change my views of voting blindly for party rather than the individual.

Anyhoo, back on topic:
Never date a smoker. (I once tore up Mrs Earle's packet of More:facepalm:)
Never take drugs. (Apart from prescription and caffeine)
Never smoke a cigarette. (Tried a drinking straw as a kid and the wax burned my fingers:lolol:)
Never hit anybody. (Although once gave my son a smack and still regret it!)
Up till now, never vote Labour, but...

Whoops, edit - Never have an affair.
Oh, and never cheat at games or sport otherwise why bother playing.

Swear.
I find dropping in a swear word, especially a strong one for no reason, offensive. Why do people swear?
Inserting the f word just for the sake of it. Never done it.
Lend money.
Been duped by 'friends & relatives' once too often.
Smoke.
Strangely I've never smoked.

Do I lead a boring life? No I've money to lead a good life.

What are your reasons for swearing, if you do.

I find a well-timed and well-placed swear work can be powerful, funny or therapeutic. Excellent punctuation or emphasis for our language. I agree that some people over use swear words but to me they certainly have a place in our vocabularies.

Each to their own of course but I am interested in when you see them as appropriate.

West is BEST
I try, I’m not always successful but I try not to judge people. We all have our story, we all have our off days and most of us are just trying to get along as best we can without hurting anyone else. Any of us can make a mess of things from time to time and the vast majority of people are not acting out of malice.

Never go onto another party after 2am. Nothing good ever happens. That’s a hard won wisdom :lolol:
