That CAN'T be right can it?

Only 10% of Brighton fans think we (a club with no money and SKINT on the shirt for 9 years) have access to 60 million.

Ha! mugs.

The vast majority of the monies will be coming from grants from public euro bodies most of us never even heard of, on the strength of urban renewal, educational :bla: sustainable :bla: :bla:

Really reckon the board have done the sums here. f*** knows, they've had long enough to do so. Cos it's asking a bit much of the 5K Albion core support to dig deep and find 60 million. Works out at about 12 grand each

Why do you think the space for the college was increased???

Increased space increased grants.

Yes no doubt, but not all in place at the moment, see countless other threads on the subject.....

Instead of asking "Will the Albion have the money?", why not ask the correct question:- "Will the Albion be able to manage the debt?"

All that is needed is a YES to the second question.

I do not know about the question can we afford Falmer but I do know that 1 man who helps keep us afloat could pay for it himself and would still have about £50 - £60m, as at the last publication of wealth, to fall back on if needed for himself.

So you believe the Government is going to subsidise the building of a football stadium?! Increased space for the City College means increased Grants for the building of the City College element NOT the football stadium.

Those college grant monies will be strictly value for money tested and unless we have done an illegal deal with the City College we wont be seeing any of it to assist with our part of the stadium.

ER the college space is IN the stadium and it is an integral part :thud:

Indeed it is, but their Grant will only go to pay towards the extra space they are taking! You honestly think the College is going to pay for more than its share and effectively subsidise our share?! :thud::thud::thud:
