Assume Yasin Ayari is?

Someone mentioned Salah being poor in both legs against PSG, yet he would already have broken his fast around two hours before kick off. I think the Liverpool issue is that they suddenly came up against a side better than them, while the league title has been in the bag for some time and the intensity may have slipped. Ramadan probably coincidental.

Strangely the Saudi teams are playing at 19:00 & 21:00 this year, I remember last year some games were at 23:00 & 00:00. 19:00 only gives them 1 hour from sunset to eat and then play!

Many also doesn't do it, since people doing hard physical work are exempted.

Imo what is happening for Liverpool is that they haven't rotated much this season and are now paying for it. Salah isn't the only one looking done. Think they'll be very beatable until the end of the season and limp over the goal line to win the PL.

Indeed, the answer came within the first few posts.

During Ramadan, if a Muslim worker finds that their labour-intensive work makes fasting excessively difficult or poses a health risk, they can break up their fast and make up the missed days later.

I suspect that professional athlete may meet that criteria (but hasn't always been the case with Albion players, no names )

Back to the thread question, did some digging.....

There's a very good chance minteh is a Muslim. If he does observe Ramadan it doesn't seem to have done his performances any harm.....

Possibility of Tariq lamptey as well.
He (Minteh) is (and got slammed by others on SM for posting a picture where he's kissing his girlfriend)

Does Sala ever show up in finals? I think you will find he doesn’t.
Although I agree with many Liverpool have been average in the league if we could play two halves of football earlier in the season we may have got something at Anfield.
Last 11 finals he's played he has 0 non penalty goals.

Scored pens against Tottenham and Man City.

What does that say about Salah? Was he Motm?

And the game against City wasn't during Ramadan
It says that he is still scoring goals during Ramadan and doing what he needs to do for his team.

Seeing as Ramadan began on the evening of the 10th March last year, you could argue that his diet/fasting etc was affected that day.
