Watching Salah be completely ineffective over the last few games after being a power horse all season had me thinking there must be a massive correlation between him not drinking or eating for hours on end and playing like complete sh1t.

Suprise suprise this has barely been mentioned in mainstream media.

Anyway are any of our players fasting at the moment? Judging by the last few performances from our first 11 I'm guessing the answer is no !

What are the other 10 players using as an excuse?
I’m not piling into this Ramadan theory but take Salah out of that Liverpool team and they are absolutely below us in the Premier League this season. Whilst they are clearly not a one man team, they are as close as you can get. He is the man who consistently digs them out of shit performances scoring critical goals or getting valuable assists to gain wins. He looked average yesterday.

It doesn't seem like a sensible idea for a professional footballer. I can't help feel there'd be better ways for Salah to empathise with those less fortunate.
Didn’t do him any harm last year!

If you walk onto a pitch dehydrated and starving with your sleep hugely interrupted you ain't putting in a good performance. Look at the tunnel before the game, Salah was lying down !!! Ramadan has come at the worst time for Liverpool.

Many also doesn't do it, since people doing hard physical work are exempted.

Imo what is happening for Liverpool is that they haven't rotated much this season and are now paying for it. Salah isn't the only one looking done. Think they'll be very beatable until the end of the season and limp over the goal line to win the PL.

Back to the thread question, did some digging.....

There's a very good chance minteh is a Muslim. If he does observe Ramadan it doesn't seem to have done his performances any harm.....

Possibility of Tariq lamptey as well.

It’s a decent question, Liverpool with a misfiring Salah are bang average as we saw yesterday

Does Sala ever show up in finals? I think you will find he doesn’t.
Although I agree with many Liverpool have been average in the league if we could play two halves of football earlier in the season we may have got something at Anfield.
