I don't think anyone can truly disentangle themselves from the tech nasties, short of doing without tech all together.

I've found myself disentangled to a small degree over the years though.

I don't touch anything with an 'i'.

Edit;
Deezer, rather than Tidal, Spotify or Amazon.
If I left Deezer, it would only be for Qobuz

I’ve switched from Apple Music to Qobuz, and have been pleasantly surprised by it.

I’ve cancelled my tech subscriptions and moved to Linux on my laptops.

The phone is going to be tougher, but when the current device dies or becomes unsupported, my current plan is to set up a FairPhone with Ubuntu Touch. That’s the bit I’m most nervous about, as my phone gets heavy use.

I’m avoiding Starbucks/McDonalds and have moved any investments that were with US investment companies (e.g. Vanguard) to UK equivalents. I’ve also sold any investments that had direct US exposure.

It isn’t much, but I think of the situation in Ukraine and I know these are small gestures, but these are the right things to do.

Toronto
My Kindle is on its way out, so I'm using this opportunity to switch to Kobo. A Toronto based company, although they are now owned by the Japanese giant Rakuten. It supports a big range of eBooks and I have even found a way of copying all my Kindle books across.
