I'd like him a lot more if he was actually aware of how he bahaves.

But you could see when he was subbed, the oaf has absolutely NO CLUE at all. No idea that what he did in that game was enough to get a couple of red cards. No idea that he was certainly going to be sent off if he carried on.

I love characters in football. I love the Roy Keanes of the game. He was a horrible *******. But he knew it. He was aware of it. And he never denied anything. Costa's interview he did professing to just be giving 100% and going to battle followed by Jose blowing smoke up his arse after the match... It all opitimises why I don't like Chelsea. The way their fans were screaming his name. Urgh.

Massive over reaction to this. He's a quality player who does what he needs to to win. The game needs more characters like him.

And I wish everybody who keeps banging on about the rugby and comparing the two would just go off and stick to the precious egg chasing and not watch football any more if it's so bad. They're different sports, one is entertaining and the other one is just a dull waste of 80 minutes of your life.

If I had to list things that I really dislike about the game I love, the cynicism of Mourinho and Costa would be high on the list. Indefensible.

This is, I think, the most accurate assessment. I don't mind a bit of sledging to wind players up but scratching and clouting them in the face is stepping over the line. However, it is more the fault of the referees who have continued to allow him to get away with it.


As for Mourinho, I used to think he was a breath of fresh air but with his defence of Costa and, even more so, his lack of class in dealing with Eva Carneino he has dropped considerably in my estimation, not that that will actually bother him!!!
