Costa has made a tit-and-three-quarters of himself there.

Undeniably a good player, but lets himself down massively with shite like that.

Just seen the series of incidents. It certainly looked like Costa IS a complete shit. I have seen players do a lot less to get a red....

cheating prick, how you can be so angry when your so rich is talented. Wouldn't wish an injury on anyone so will have to make do with hoping his career dwindles away really quickly.

I would normally be in the Alan Shearer mode of liking him as a player "on the edge", but today he was disgusting.

And normally I have some sort of sneaking admiration for Mourinho. Today that disappeared after his defending.... "you have to play like that"

Before the incidents that were replayed many times, Costa had already elbowed an Arsenal defender when the ball came in the box, he got away with that and got away with everything afterwards. A nasty vile specimen and i hope he gets what he deserves in the not to distant future.

Massive over reaction to this. He's a quality player who does what he needs to to win. The game needs more characters like him.

And I wish everybody who keeps banging on about the rugby and comparing the two would just go off and stick to the precious egg chasing and not watch football any more if it's so bad. They're different sports, one is entertaining and the other one is just a dull waste of 80 minutes of your life.

The game needs more characters like him????........really?????
The game having players like him is the reason many of us despise many aspects of the modern game of football, Chelsea is another reason to despise the modern game

Yes it does. Football is entertainment and pantomine villains are always entertaining. I used to love it when we faced Scott Mcgleish. And has Costa really done anything THAT bad?

For me dirty players like Charlie Adam who regularly commit dangerous tackles that could end careers are a much bigger problem.

Chelsea are back thanks partly to Arsenal's blind spot and Man City's mortality. The silly season is over and all the media people will conveniently forget what they've said about this season, to date. Watch out for Reading. They seem to be saying 'Enough faffing! We'll have this league if everyone else is going to pussy around!'

True, one is played by men, the other seems to have a lot of absolute soft as **** whimpy cheats running around playing it.

Sadly I agree, far too many players whose sole intentions seem to be getting opposing professionals sent off. Maurinho sinks even lower in my esteem, slags of his team doctor for doing her job responsibly, whilst praising a devious football thug who is totally devoid of anything expected of a sportsman. :annoyed:

Not the best day for the ref - Costa should have been off three or four times

FA have enough evidence to charge him, especially the incident with Koscielny. Whether they have the balls to do it is another thing.

Is he actually that good?

Apart from one brilliant season in Madrid and 6 months at chelsea he has been average.

He seems to be in the side to get players sent off, I can't believe professionals still fall for it

What an utter cock.

I'm watching last night's MOTD now, and watching Costa filled me with righteous indignation - Shearer and Murphy then virtually vindicating him reminded me of why I hate so much about football at the highest level.

Revolting individual.
