What a pile this thread has turned in to.

Back on topic, and I believe this storyline is a good one to come across for EastEnders, proves as to why it always win best soap of the year awards. Although I did notice that at the end of the last episode there wasn't the 'Action Line' number given out.

So the old paedo has raised his standards and is now after the lovely Lauren.

Don't half blame him either

Quite right.

Nothing wrong in that at all.

Especially as she's CLEARLY up for it

just watched it and she says she loves him but he's dumped her, thought of this thread straight away, :D

Its uncomfortable viewing but its clear Whitney is now too old for him. She is turning into a Woman and the make up was the alst straw. He has gone off her and his attention is now turning to the next victim 12 year old Lauren Branning. Its made uncomfortable as it has to be said the bloke playing the paedo is a very talented and convincing actor.

The problem is that once anyone is tarred with the paedo brush it is hard to ever see them as entirely innocent. Even when it's just an actor.

By the same token though, who can blame him where Lauren Branning's concerned?

I mean mouthy ginger Bianca or tasty nubile teen Lauren?

Exactly.

Why else do you think the BBC are saying at the end of every recent episode:

"And if you have been affected by anything you have seen in tonight's episode please call........."

i wonder how many people hear that, ring up and say 'yes, i work in a launderette in east london and i am having problems changing shifts with my god bothering co-worker', or similar..
