I feel sorry for the people who have to work out a ROI plan for that pocket of land. Hotel maybe or perhaps housing for non-students. Looks like Farmer Bennett fleeced them good and proper. Shame he can’t pass down all the dosh to his kids now

I would also say that now planning permission has been granted for those ugly student blocks if an application went in for something completely different in the future it would be very difficult to turn down.

I’m still annoyed that the club hotel was turned down adjacent to this site!

At a slight tangent, this morning friends of mine are up early for a safari in the Masai Mara. Another tourist, Japanese, politely asked them where they were from.
