It's rife at every club. There's always a scapegoat who'll get dogs abuse from his own fans who can't see how productive they are. I think it's great in the case of Ashley Barnes he's scoring goals again because even if certain fans can't recognise the contribution he makes they can at least see his name on the score sheet.... Probably still slag him off anyway. Barnes survived that triple change last night for a reason & looked effective playing just behind Vokes

Regarding the Barnes debate on the whole, I'm happy to admit that I don't rate him above other players that we have that would (in my opinion) not only mean that we could drop this nonsense playing only one winger but also be more effective. Admittedly I wouldn't shout abuse at him, but I'm not bothered about groaning at misplaced passes (from him or anybody, for that matter). Don't see why so many of our fans have to take a moral high ground about it - it's a football match. Lighten up.
