No feeling of let down here.....thinking about booking a tour beginning of July to help cope with the long break
70 points is par.
.
Yes, you keep saying that. Doesn't make it true though.
Its an arbitrary figure that you've plucked out of the air, and is at least 10 higher than most people would have set 'par' before the start of the season.
70 points is par. It looked like we had overachieved until the recent results. Now only two wins would bring up up to par.
I was not all that keen at playing West Ham in the play-offs over two legs.

Why is everyone saying they don't feel let down over the course of the season?
READ the original post - it says 'in light of their RECENT results'. I'd argue that no win in six, including a 6-0 drubbing in a crunch game (which cost me £32, by the way) that determined the outcome of what we've have to play for in the last three fixtures has let me down somewhat. Call me a bad fan, though.
I let my "staff" down when i was vigorously and anally rutting a pigugly houndess in the toilets of a dive i was the bouncer at after hours many years ago. I've never forgiven the manager for interrupting this porky porking just seconds before i UGLUed her/it either. Fiend.

I still haven't quite forgiven them for the Palace game.
