Forster's family are palace fans.

He’s from Caterham which is a true Palace supporting town and only about 10 miles from Selhurst, makes sense I guess?

A key problem with Ifill is that he gets injured a lot...
Ifill played around 35 games for Palace this season, I reckon if we could get 35 games from him next season that would be well worth our while in terms of the points he'd help us get. Quality player, the only concern is it might be a bit too comfortable bringing him here... I'd be happy for the club to take the punt though.

Good news about Dicker, I'd actually like to see him signed up for longer, maybe he doesn't want to. As long as we get him.

Argus also mentions Steve Mildenhall as a possible goalkeeping target. Supposedly very close to Slade at Yeovil... personally I haven't been that impressed when I've seen him.

Really, 35! That is a lot more than the season before... I am sure his salary is a bit high for us too...

Starting a revolution from my bed
Stop making a cock of yourself NF9.

Ifill supports BRIGHTON, he used to have a season-ticket at BRIGHTON and he lives in BRIGHTON.

Just because he went to Palace after they offered him a shed load of money is not a problem with me. ANYBODY else would have done the same.

He is more than capable of unlocking teams at this level. He has considerable natural talent. And he is quite a rare type of player to have the fortune of bolstering your squad, in terms of ability.

The lad is a GOOD player. Sign him up.

That's probably the argus Reading on hear, it's one of the more believable rumours though. Someone putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, instead of putting 2 and 2 together and getting 38 !

There's a lot of out of contract players like Ifill out there who are going to have to accept lower salaries if they want to find clubs this summer.

The way they worded it didn't make it sound like anything other than speculation, but as you say it seems fairly plausible. He sprung to my mind as soon as Sully was released.
