Dick is not the only victim - TB can be a ruthless man, it is a disgrace what has happened to AITC.
What has happened to AITC that is a disgrace? Genuine question.

To clarify - assuming this latest rumour is true, do you think the club want control of AITC so they can cut costs?
From what I gather he was pretty dictatorial and forceful about having his own way when he was in overall charge here so I guess what comes around goes around?
Just heard that Dick Knight, Albion Legend, has been "asked, forced, pressured" into leaving his role within the AITC!

Hearing about some of the things the club wanted to do with him out of the way...yes, it wil be turning it into a money making cash cow.
I get the distinct impression that Tony Bloom sees the value of AITC principally as a means to promote the commercial interests of the football club. Constitutionally, it is an independent charity, answerable to the Charity Commission, who require its activities to support the charitable aims and objectives set out in its governing rules. To clarify - assuming this latest rumour is true, do you think the club want control of AITC so they can cut costs?
Ah, so another FFP/Barber storm on the horizon then!
Coarse or Sea, take your pick, my source is in the mix. This is the bloke who said Gus had a job lined up managing in a place with a Marina.
PINCH OF SALT.
Without any doubt, and looking back no credible reason was ever given for 2 stalwarts in Steve Ford and Alan Sanders "leaving" an institution that they were instrumental in setting up! If it is about costs, no one person has given more to a club EVER than Dick Knight. He used his own money to save our club, unlike Derek Chapman who has trousered away god knows from the construction of the Amex and will no doubt benefit from the building of the Academy

Welcome to the corporatisation of our club !
That has got to be libelous I would have thought.

A pretty stupid comment to put on the internet generally, this forum specifically, particularly after the warnings over the last few weeks. You could quite easily end up in court for that...
