Hope he never manages our club. Never really had that strong of an opinion until recently, but seems like a right attention seeking c*nt, and a fascist to boot. Was evident when they beat us, it wasn't applauding the players, he made all of those gestures suggesting he was some kind of god like creature who deserved every last ounce of credit.

Managers like him are all well and rosey when things are going well, but give it 4 or 5 defeats and he will lose the dressing room rapidly. Ninja Elephant gave those stats about the keepers form, seems very good for a young keeper. If your keeper has a bad game, you don't publicly slag off his performance, to the point where it seems Di Canio has gone out of his way to do so. If asked why the substition was made, any sane person would just state the obvious "I could see he was having a tough game". What on earth does all these interviews do to Foderingham's confidence, and also, the rest of the dressing room. Fair enough, one could argue it puts the pressure on players to perform, but even Messi has a bad game in a while. Laying into a young, league 2 keeper, who is bound to make mistakes is just childish and pathetic IMO.

Yes, Paulo won league 2, but he also had the largest budget seemingly by some distance along with Crawley. Once again he has a very good budget for L1, which looks the easiest it has done for years, just look at the amount of players he's brought in.

I can't wait to see how he reacts when they inevitably hit a bad run of form, I reckon the chances are he'll lose a fair few of the dressing room when things turn bad, as his man management skills seem pretty shocking. Leon Clarke, Caddis, and now Foderingham.

Blokes a :tosser: IMO.

Hope he never manages our club.
If that ever happened then, painful as it would be, I would have to suspend my support of the club until the situation was changed....although I have more than enough faith in TB that this wouldn't happen.

I love di Canio! Would love him after gus!

Would you like Gus to say these things about one of our players who has had a bad game?

Do you think it would help the player? Would it help the dressing room? Would it command respect from the other players? Would it make our club an attractive prospect to other professionals in the game?

What good could it possibly do, other than appeal to some lower bran animal instincts?

We have a smart, thoughtful manager.

Di Canio is not smart, or thoughtful.

Some people on here would be in for a shock if they saw one of Gus' team talks, especially if it was a losing one. For instance, our poor run of form last season after the Palace game was due to his reaction after the game; also, later in the season his harsh opinions on Razak caused the kid to throw his toys out of the pram and leave.

I think it's right to give team talks like this, show them exactly how you feel, but going to the media is a different thing. Gus plays it much calmer, putting fans at ease, whereas Di Canio goes all out and expresses exactly how he feels

And you know all of this how?

Is Di Canio going to apologise for picking him then? PDC is a complete wally sometimes. I would not want him anywhere near our club

Utter goon. Only a question of time before he's found out, will have a fairly short managerial career if he doesn't learn a bit of self control

Di Canios big mouth and player management skills will eventually be his downfall and Swindon's. Swindon FC is hardly over flowing with money, and I cannot see Swindon being able to compete finanancially with some of the other teams in their division.
