Yeah i know what you mean, I'm not saying it's all real but the roulette thing can't have been fake because he was wrong, but was one number away so the chances of that happening is not 50/50.

(I hate having to type everything to english A level standard on here so the geeks of nsc don't think I'm a dopey ****)

That's the worst thing I've seen Brown do, the whole programme was so obviously fake. The predicting races one was good, but this was absolute rubbish. TV for the completely gullible!

Anyone who doubts the man's talent needs to watch this.

I find him absolutely entertaining. All you need to do is watch his shows with an open mind.

I think a lot of people don't understand Derren Brown. He's always stated that his act is a combination of showmanship, psychology etc.

Personally having read some of his books and knowing a bit about psychology i don't believe this bloke was in on it. Everyone else, yes but not him.

But i do have to agree that if he was such a numb nuts how did he get a honey like that :lolol:

I'm sorry but i'm one who has to see to believe - things have to be proven beyond doubt and this programme was the biggest crock of shit i've ever seen honestly. Hidden speakers in his room to make him meet him in the garden in his 'sleep'! Putting a hand on his chest to make him instantly fall asleep? Leaving him on a 'train track' like that ?! The Jack in the boxes?

Absolute bollocks.

my friend got pulled out of the audience in one of his stage shows.. said she never usually beleives anything like that.. but she was told to write something on a bit of paper... and he wud guess it later on... he guessed right obviously but when she got back to her seat she realised the bit of paper had gone from her hand and she had her hand closed all the time she was on stage.. although its not magic its damn clever x

People seem to forget that he describes himself as an illusionist and not a magician. It's meant to be entertainment, not hocus pocus!

Surely not a hoax, as many on here seem to believe. Truth is, he would get found out. As DB says on his blog today:

I don’t use actors in that way, and it would be stupid to do so, as I’d have to find, kill or silence all their friends, families and acquaintances too.

So via a hidden speaker in his bedroom he spoak through it and got him to go out the house and meet him - he was never gonna suddenly wake up or think 'why the f*** is there a voice in my room' and Derren Brown was fine to risk blowing the whole show in case the geezer was fully awake and noticed there was a voice in his room?! And yes they would just take a bloke into a field and get him to stroke a crocodile in his 'sleep' and they were fine to risk the croc biting the blokes arm off? Imagine that - Oh sorry mate a croc bit your arm off - it was meant to be for a show and you were asleep?

Plus actor or no actor, I'm sure a nice 5 figure sum should keep the truth quiet for as long as it takes for people to forget the show...

It was an utter crock of shit.

Haven't had a chance to speak to her about it. Not that he'll tell her anything we probably don't already know. As I'm sure he'll be wrapped up in a contract.

LA...wishing it was devon..
Other 'tricks' that night include..

- Putting a man in a trance and getting him to lie flat on two backs of cheers, literally tip of head and heel's and this bloke was dead flat like a plank of wood.

- Correctly guessing the time on a watch that had been randomly set, and placed in tin foil.

The best part of the show was then ending, but i will not spoil that for you, but when it comes out on tv, you will be left speechless!

i saw the same show in torquay in feb... agree the ending was superb!!!!!!!!!!
a class acy indeed. thoroughly recommend an evening with mr d brown...
