Derren Brown is incredible. I think in his book Tricks of the mind he explains how a lot of things are done, my favourite being how mediums con the desperate.

some bloke thinks he's asleep and derren brown is talking to him in his dreams? and doesn't realise he's awake and out in a field? you all genuinely serious this is an amazing mind trick and not set up in them slightest?

Maybe the real trick is getting his family and friends to subconciously treat him different and not give it away they know it's all hidden cameras, etc.

yes, but didn't mention he was popping up in his "dreams" or think it was weird he was there and then breaking blatant Health and Safety regs for a "genuine" stunt.
also, how this bloke he is supposed to spend all his time in his bedroom get a girlfriend who looks like that? did she deliver a pizza once?

well I'd guess the train driver had to be in on it or Mr Brown, the Producers, and C$ bosses would be up for murder. Health and Safety would never allow it unless it was staged.
