Derby have not even sold 1000 tickets for Saturday.
I thought they were a big club & considering we are are level on points with us looking to get into the playoffs I am a bit surprised.

Bit surprising considering it was midweek last season so it would be a new ground for a lot of them.

What is the obsession with tickets and how many are sold ? We are in the middle of a recession and austerity cuts and people have more important things to spend their money on than football matches

Spot on. It doesn't take much thought really does it.

Derby are notorious for low away numbers in comparison with what they pull in at home.

The obsession is that the more people that attend, the more money the club receives.

Considering they've sold 30,000 for next weeks game against Forest, I'd have at least thought they'd bring 1500.

So why go on about away tickets when we haven't sold out our own ? Makes us a small club by your thinking then

I would say we are on a par with derby.
The reason I mention away fans is because the bigger the away turnout the better the home support tends to be creating a good atmosphere

If you can only afford to see one game though most Derby fans would opt to watch the local derby against Forest.

May well be a sign of the bubble bursting if people can no longer afford or unwilling to pay sky high prices for matches

I don't think it's got anything to do with ticket prices but I do think that the Amex is not an attractive venue for away fans that want to drive.
