Glad that they've actually been punished for their shenanigans last season, was worried they were going to get away with it, particularly after the points deduction was halved mid-season. Should have been relegated for it last season imho.

Also pleased for Liam Rosenior if nothing else.

Wednesday will eventually be promoted back to the Championship. Their fans will not have learned humility. You heard it here first.

I wouldn't put any money on the humility bit, Leeds fans never did.

A bit over the top?

Hope they think everything's sorted now because they will stink the division out and go down next season if they carry on as they are. Rooney laughing because they were 2-1 up when they'd clearly exhausted themselves and were being dominated sums up what a state they are - couldn't get two more loathsome clubs at the moment than them and Wendy.

Millers' recent record was only marginally better but they are a contrast to both as a community club run by a local bloke who brought them back to the borough. To be within three minutes of staying up and then miss out, on their resources, is beyond gutting. That said - shades of Albion - yet again today they should have been out of sight.

Sky can suck a bag of dicks, as well. Hardly any mention of RUFC, didn't even bother sending live cameras to Cardiff, which backfired when even most Derby fans would have wanted to watch their game for most of the second half. Hardly anything about them after the game. That's before you get on to all the refereeing decisions that have gone against them this season. It's like when Albion were struggling to stay in the Championship - the moneymen couldn't make it any clearer that they don't want them there, so much stacked against clubs like that. You can't buy class, although Derby doubtless would try to (and **** it up) if they could. Nobends.

That's a very bitter but nonetheless top class rant Mr Banana . Nicely done. Not sure I agree with all of it, but hope you're right about Derby being absolutely shit again next season.

Hopefully we can send Matt Clarke to a proper football club next time. He can't have learnt much at that joke set up.

The Derby defence was woeful - how many times did they struggle to clear simple long throws? Clarke was probably the best of a bad bunch.....and in particular Edmundson was a complete liability. Must be tricky playing with so many poor team-mates. Having said that, probably a bit unfair to judge them on such a day. But I think Clarke needs to go to a club that wants to play football (and ideally not managed by Wayne Rooney).

Isnt there a little club in Yorkshire that has a great record in turning young players that are treading water into world beaters. Rhymes with Deluded.

Bit obscure this one, not too many choices, I am going with Extruded.

Do I get a prize?

Made me smile inwardly watching and listening Wayne Rooney at the post match press conference, anyone would think he had just won a trophy, rather than avoided relegation by the skin of his teeth. Moreover he seemed to be of the opinion that the major reason for his side's faliure, was due to the internal problems at boardroom level.

No mention of his own shortcomings whatsoever. Surelt he won't still be at the helm when next season kicks off.

Aye, I am. Would have been a lot easier if they'd played to form and gone down with a whimper, and the other two hadn't been so scummy. That said, still had it in their hands and failed to earn the one win in the final week that would have done the job. Smith alone up front in the final game, pretty much route one, Ladapo brought on in the 90th or summat. Architects of the demise and all that.

It's Warney's birthday today

I can remember chatting to a couple of their fans at the Sportsman at Withdean.
Totally mocking us and our set up at the time.
They can now do the same at Cheltenham next season.
How the massive have fallen.
