Steele is playing well especially as the pitch is really cut up and heavy now.

Is Gwargis going to be the next one into the first team squad. You have to say on recent performances, he can't be far off?

Answer my own question, its says it only limits the amount of loans in, not out.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51665904

Not sure I understand, because it says:

"Fifa has proposed new regulations that would mean clubs could only have eight loan deals per season, both in and out of the club. That would then be reduced to six from 2022-23."

But then it says:

"There are no restrictions on numbers of players that can leave clubs on loan."

Chelsea currently have 28 players on loan

I've just watched the goals and saw the brilliant effort by Yapi to keep the ball in play in the corner, then bring it into the box for our first goal.

He must be well peeved that we signed Lamptey apparently ahead of him.

Does it?

"Fifa has proposed new regulations that would mean clubs could only have eight loan deals per season, both in and out of the club. That would then be reduced to six from 2022-23." - even though it only applies to international loans and players over 22 at first.

I think lawyers might have a field day here before it's definitively settled!

I take it as this second statement.

We must have about 15-16 at least out on loan. We are the new Chelsea...

When A-Z wakes up he may be able to enlighten us more on both of these.

As I said earlier, I think the young lad is setting out to make a point!

Off the top of my head we have out on loan;

White
Moulomby
Arce
Loccadia
Tau
Baluta
Mlakar
Clarke
Sanchez
Walton
Cox
Ostigard
Gyokeres
Andone
Knockhaert
Sanders
McGill
The guy at Caldes club
Rushworth
Lopata

And I think someone at Burgess Hill

Going to be odd for players picking what Acadamy to play at if they get stuck there.

So we have at least 22 out on Loan this season.

We send so many out on loan, I think this is capped next season, so it will be interesting how Potter brings them through, exciting times.

Also we must be due to sell a few of them soon and start generating a nice pot of income to spend on future transfers in.
