Well he wasn't the best finisher; 5 in 22 appearances is 1 in 4.4 games; Muzza was 34 in 115, one in 3.4. And, without being excessively anal, I suspect DU made proportionately more appearances in non PL matches than Muzza when he might have had the chance to improve his ratio.

You have a point and there were signs towards the end that he might make it (bar the horrid scuff against Man U that could have earned him sainthood) but somehow there was just something not right; rumour is it was personal more than football and there aint much anyone could do about it.

Assuming that we're talking about that chance in first half of ET, as I recall it wasn't so much that he scuffed it but that his first touch was straight out of the book of CMS's first touches and turned what should've been the best chance of the game into an easy tackle for the defence.
