And humour is subjective. I watched the show and laughed a lot.

Did you laugh a lot at that particular bit though? I honestly couldnt find the humour. Just a ridiculous hateful statement that if reversed (racially) would have been hugely controversial.

In the context of the piece yes I believe I did. TBH it's been nearly two weeks since I watched it so telling you exactly which jokes I did and didn't laugh at is tricky.

At the end of the day the offshore Billionaires that have groomed the British public for decades want shot of the Beeb

What is the point of having a service that almost everyone can afford and enjoy when that money could be in their pockets offshore

You only have to look at Canada and Australia to see what you get when you don't priortise public service broadcast, and then there's the US....

The regular trick of threatening to privatise the BBC has the effect of putting them in a position whereby whatever they report and in whatever way they report it they get pelters all the time, so, you are left with the largest independent broadcaster in the UK powerless to report anything remotely controversial. Johnson and his cronies and the fruit loopers on here have the BBC right where they want them sadly.

Me: "Has anyone ever evidenced their claims that the BBC has a left wing bias."

You: "Yeah...well...nobody has ever proved there's a right wing bias and loads of people claim that!"

Do I need to tell you this doesn't actually answer my question or shall we just take that as read and assume you can't?

But that isnt what i posted, you have simply behaved like a child, edited what i wrote, missed a section out and twisted the meaning.

Anyone supporting an organisation that has criminalised the poor for decades is worse than a fascist (that word has really lost its meaning thanks to people like you).

They are right wing conservatives.

Interesting how the words ' fascism/fascist ' have suddenly been hi-jacked again and used regularly in common parlance. For years, there were occasional references to ' neo-fascist ' but because fascism finally died in 1975, with the death of Franco in Spain, most of us have resisted using the expression because ( with the exception of Spain ) it related to a very short, specific period in history. i.e a maximum of about 20 years, spanning early/mid 1920's to 1945.
The true fascist movement is long gone. It had its brief moment in history. Use of the word now plus the word ' racist ' are in vogue. Anyone remotely right of centre is tagged with this label, irrespective of how moderate they are. It smacks of desperation, anger and intolerance from those with even the slightest divurgence of opinion and bears no relation to reality.

It is a tragic consequence of politically ill-educated people being given platforms (or safe spaces) which allow their views to go unchallenged.

In recent times I have spoken to young Corbynistas who passionately espouse their support for neo-socialism and it’s ideology whilst whining about not being able to get on the housing ladder.

I was drinking in the Prince Regent one night before Brexit and 2 young Herberts wanted to discuss it with me; one of whom said to me at the start of the conversation that politically he was a communist. When I explained that meant he would be supporting leave he was crushed. But he wasn’t a communist, just like many of the Corbynistas are not socialists.

Little wonder if they don’t know what they are, they equally don’t know what fascists are? Fascists and racists are just the people they disagree with, no more no less. This forum franks that position in spades (no racist pun intended).

"fruit loopers oh here".....??? wtf , you think the bbc gives a head wobble about what a few Brighton fans think ....:lolol::lolol::lolol: , i don't think their role on covering for numerous pedophiles back in the day has done them any good to be fair but the country still badly needs an impartial broadcaster to educate the population and bring them unbiased news .....does the bbc still do this...???

right wing conservatives are money grabbing , self appointed , deep state operatives , snake heads and yes they are far worse than fascist because they don't care about your religion or colour they just want you on your arse and they want all your money.

have you seen the figures out of the USA .....the dollar wealth held by the top 10 % of the population has risen from $ 2.48 trillion to $3.76 trillion in 6 months since covid started .....ding ****ing dong boys , do you think its any different in the UK ....:wozza:

I watched the so called USA election debate and then watched the reporting that followed on various US TV news channels, it was so black and white either in favour of one side or the other I have never seen anything so blatant outside of Russia or China.

Long live the BBC and long live public funding
