The Trevor Arms at Glynde is good.
Is the Tiger Inn at Littlington still good? Haven't been there for ages.
The Tiger is at East Dean. Not been there for a while but it used to be good.

the royal oak is even shitter and poncier than the shepherd.
Abergavenny Arms in Rodmell was very good last week. Food and service despite being very busy on Sunday lunchtime. Recommended.
Golden galleon , devil dyke etc, crown cavery, Toby carvery, harvester, steakhouse at lancing leisure, browns , pavilion tavern brighton, pump house lanes etc..
All M & B pubs ( Mitchell and butlers chain ) , there massive and I call expensive pubs like browns a posh harvester
Hardly pubs and definitely not in East Sussex!
Not very good either certainly not the best or value for money,
I hate cold plates.
Heard good reports about the Rainbow at Cooksbridge lately.
Gotta be the Griffin at Fletching, in the garden with the countryside view when it's sunny or in front of the fire when it's wintry, in either case with a pint of Harvey's. Classic 16th century coaching inn.
