On paper it looks tough, as we are playing two big guns but it wasn't that long ago that we had Reading, Sheff W and Burnley in successive away games and that was pretty tasty. Most BHA fans expected us to lose at least one of those. We didn't and we've moved on. Purely on the law of averages, our colours will be lowered soon. A lot of people expect it to be Derby but it may be a surprise ( QPR or Brentford )
8-9 points looks favourite. If we get past Xmas undefeated, I don't think we have a potential loss until Jan 30 ( Hull ) and beyond that its Mar 19 ( we can't even score at MKD!! ) and beyond that Apr 30 ( Derby ) / May 7 ( Boro )......beyond that.....IMMORTALITY.
Don't forget that Hull could well be rearranged due to FACup4...

12 points and I'm going to be seriously happy. I mean, not just normal happy, seriously face ache happy.

If we're on 50 points after 24 games played at the turn of the year - that would be sensational.

Last 5 years after 24 games the following sides topped the table:
B'muff 48 pts Champions
Leicester 51 pts Champions
Cardiff 50 pts Champions
Southampton 47 pts Runner up
QPR 47 pts Champions
Newcastle 51 pts Champions

9 points is going to see us into 2016 in a very strong position. 12 points...well...

I see us losing one of our away games there, most likely Derby but the other two aren't easy either. We can't surely go December unbeaten to keep the run going can we?

I'm surprisingly confident about the team at the moment. We've been to Wednesday, Burnley and Reading, all of whom were playing well when we played them, and came away with deserved points.

We are top on merit; we've been top all season (in terms of points). We're unbeaten. We've just given Birmingham a lesson (albeit the score should have been more). We've signed a decent striker as well who should put more chances away.

Derby and Middlesbrough should be wary of us. I now don't think we'll lose at Derby; in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a win there. We wonder why clubs think 'Little Old Brighton' when a lot of our fans 'feel' that way too. Who knows when we're going to lose (heck, it may be to Charlton), but on balance, we should be confident going into most games now.

I reckon at least 12 points.
