9 points. WLDDDW. Very tough month. But not to worry, I think we'll hit form in Jan, Feb & Mar and we'll be promotion favorites come the next set of hard fixtures in April & May.

December: Six games in 25 days.

How many of the 18 available points do you think we'll take?

Sat 26 Dec Brent a
Tue 29 Dec Ipswich h

I never predict on Albion's fortunes - putting the mockers on and all that. What I will say is that if we get a result (win/draw) against Derby and Middlesbrough will show our true credentials to any remaining doubters.

Derby (away), apart our first season (2011/12) in the Championship when we won 1-0, has been not been a happy hunting ground. One draw and the rest defeats.

Middlesbrough (home), well, we've never beaten them at the Amex. If memory serves me well the matches have ended 1-1, 0-0, 0-2, 1-2.

So for both those fixtures it's time for a change, methinks, in our favour. Here's hoping.

I would happily settle for one more than any of Hull, Middlesbrough, Derby, Wolves, QPR and Burnley get over the same period.

Any advance on that, anyone?

That is a very tough December. But nothing we can't get a few points from. I'll guess 12.

On paper it looks tough, as we are playing two big guns but it wasn't that long ago that we had Reading, Sheff W and Burnley in successive away games and that was pretty tasty. Most BHA fans expected us to lose at least one of those. We didn't and we've moved on. Purely on the law of averages, our colours will be lowered soon. A lot of people expect it to be Derby but it may be a surprise ( QPR or Brentford )
8-9 points looks favourite. If we get past Xmas undefeated, I don't think we have a potential loss until Jan 30 ( Hull ) and beyond that its Mar 19 ( we can't even score at MKD!! ) and beyond that Apr 30 ( Derby ) / May 7 ( Boro )......beyond that.....IMMORTALITY.
