I agree with Barrel of fun regards the subs, another strange thing i thought was at corners when hinshelwood came on he sent el-abd and Hinshelwood forward and left mc.nulty and whing back both are bigger players and equally good in the air seemed a bit odd to me??

McNulty went off as well.White hands were tied.

AFTER White had already wasted a subsitution on Hinshelwood. If he hadn't then there still would've been a sub left to replace McNulty when he got injured. How difficult is that to understand fuckwit.

You obviously do not sit in F block then! We're directly behind the bench and White was getting MASSIVE abuse in the second half. On several occasions he and Booker turned round shaking their heads. A couple of fans in particular were shouting at him constantly, and there was a sustained chant of "Out Out Out" at one point. I know the manager is usually abused on the track, but this is the first time I've seen a manager abused from the stands since Hinshelwood.

Justified as far as I am concerned.

It happened to Mcghee as well though.

I thought Whites interviews was one of the more thoughtful and honest interviews I've heard from a "manager" at the club in a long while.

I've never blamed him for a minute blamed him for the situation we're in. He works tirelessly for the club in a number of capacities.

Whats that all about playing our 3rd and last sub with 30 minutes to go and
1-0 down ?. Bold or stupid ?. I would go with the second option. Tactical ineptitude beyond belief.

I think you,ll find that Birchill was substituted 40 minutes before the end.

An incredible decision, especially as we had created 2-3 decent half chances in the first few minutes of tyhe second half.

I cannot even start to understand Whites thinking.......utter madness.....!

You can guarantee though that if he'd sent on Cook and played Whing out of position enough of the serial whingers on here would be moaning at White for players playing out of position when there was a perfectly adequate replacement on the bench. I know people who have used Malcolm Stuart as a physio in a private capacity and can categorically state that the Albion's medical side is run very professionally. If he's passed a fitness test then he should have been capable of playing though it was only obvious once he was on the pitch that it wasn't the case.

Hindsight is such a wonderful thing to have.

What a fan you must be, and such a big man

How can abusing a man who is only performing a caretaker role until a manager can be appointed and having taken 4 points out of 6 available to him be justified.

Criticism of him is justified because he is out of his depth and he's cocking up an important job. But as much as I think he's useless, I don't think it's right for several hundred people to sit behind him and abuse him for 20 minutes non-stop because the club is a shambles and there are a LOT of people who've played a bigger role in getting us where we are than White.

I'm only going on what I see/hear from my seat, but I've sat in that seat for every season at Withdean and I NEVER heard McGhee get abuse from the stands like White did today.

Well I wasn't there today - but towards the end of Mcghee's reign I saw similar in H Block.

Hardly White fault he's been put into this situation, especially with a team that's been in free fall for weeks.

Anyway nice to see you haven't descended into the usual level of personal abuse unlike some other posters on here.

Quite what the relevance of his previous job is to the situation is anyone's' guess. No-one is above criticism but where do you draw the line.

Abuse like that is quite frankly pathetic, used as last resort where there is absolutely nothing intelligent or constructive to offer.

Booker doesn't seem to get any abuse at all, it's all directed towards a bloke who other managers have seem fit to gladly appreciate the services of.

I'm not saying we shouldn't have a mass clear out or a re-think, but quite how White has become the problem is bizarre.

Probably an easy target as if satisfies the attentions of those who couldn't bring themselves to criticise Adams or the way the club is being run at the moment.

Agreed

Why do we have so many now associated with this club that believe that the only way to support the club is to try to find fault with something and force it to be changed, whether its the manager, board, players, caterers, litter patrol or whatever.
