I'd say he's our best impact player, no one livens the game up in the second half like he does. Just a shame that perhaps since Wilkins was in charge he's been given poorer training or match orders? Certainly not allowed to be as creative as he was when he burst onto the scene.

See goal on 54 seconds. And that's not a one off, either.

Agreed - He's well alright as well - when i've met him he's seemed SOUND

great player to hve in our squad

I've never met him myself, but know plenty who went to school with him, or know him from out and about in the 'Heath. Without exception, their opinion of him is that he's a proper little knob.

P.s. I do actually rate him as a player and would rather he stays

where too? someone buying, made an arrangement? otherwise, i dont believe you tell a player he's leaving in 2 weeks when you might be needing him for those games.

This joy at Cox's possible departure - I just don't get it.

He started off really well. Dipped in form a bit, got it back, dipped, returned to form and so on. Same as any footballer.

True, some of his corners are maddeningly infuriating, but he's always had plenty of skill, willing and ability. He'll run for the whole game for the team - always the first to make himself available for a quick Kuipers throw-out. As for people whingeing about the fact he gets down the wing, stops, cuts back and crosses - that also leaves me stumped. The cross might be poo, but that's not what people moaned about.

Gobby little get he might be, but I don't think he's ever cheated the club on the pitch - unlike others.

So where does the schadenfreude come from?

What he said.
Also he's a lot better when he plays on the right but he seems to get stuck on the left wing most of the time.

Not sure what he’s like as a person but have seen him in the pubs of HH the night before a game, not sure if he was drinking or not, but not smart never the less.

IF (and its a big IF) this is true I would see it as a sure sign that Poyet has been given money and the blessing of TB to get exactly what he wants into this club.

Same sentiments really. Genereally done well for the club and I would be sad to see him go. Sure he is due good/great form from this day onwards.

Some really really graceless people on here. He's a great asset to the team and as TLO says, if true then I'll be gutted.

A fantastic impact player and a very nice bloke too.

Honestly, I'll be gutted if he goes.

He is now on the periphery of the team... a good player, but won't be a huge loss, IMHO...

Would rather see the Hawk (poor), McLeod (lazy), and Livermore (not as advertised) shown the door, TBH...

To be honest, if we're talking about who you'd like to see go then I think for the benefit of team harmony it has to be Virgo. As much a periphery player under Gus as Hawkins, it would seem.

I think without Virgo, we wouldn't have struggled so much last season and early this season.
