It was coxs fault for two of the goals. If cox could be arsed to move when Livermore was under pressure at left back, Livermore could have played a simple pass down the line and we wouldn't have conceeded the first two goals.

Because cox didn't move two yards, Livermore was closed down trying to clear the ball and we conceded two identical goals

As others have said, I think you're wrong to single out Cox I don't particularly rate him either but the entire team was woeful tonight- THE worst team performance I've ever seen from us.

As the for the build-up to the goals which you blame Cox for, I would argue that Livermore was most at fault if anyone, as he lacked the strength and pace to keep up with their number 19 (nicholls?) time and time again, no wonder he was replaced after half time.
For the first goal, admittedly the ball bounced really unfortunately for Livermore just when it looked as though he'd won it back, making it easy for them to put it into the box. But for the second goal, I thought he was muscled off the ball far too easily.

Basically, yes Cox was bad, but so was our entire team! until the second half when we managed to at least defend....a bit....

We were doing that anyway, loads of aimless long balls. Maybe Livermore was trying to stop that and play a pass. It resulted in him dallying on the ball and getting caught out. Maybe it was Livermores inexperience as a left back

Oh dear, the return of the pre-Christmas rugby "tactics". Sounds absolutely woeful, even worse than Carlisle away.:annoyed:

Have a safe trip back all of you. N.

He was horrible but the one who really gets to me is Jarrett. He doesn't care and it showed in every lazy, lacksadaisical pass he failed to complete. No more please. R

And that dummy he did at the end summed up the whole performance. The only one who looked like he gave a shit tonight was Whingy.

Of course Livermore was bad today, arguably out of position.
I agree everyone but whing was pretty bad. As for the goals cox could have helped out, but Livermore still should have hit row a

Just abject all round really

What's not true? Because that is what he said.

Plus half hearted applause from the remaining fans and the team were half heartedly applauding back.

I saw one fan beg to be let out 20 mins before the end. A handfull left before the end. The rest of us sat there in a state of numbness. Yes the applause at the end was a bit half hearted but what else could we do

True. It was just generally a really lackluster performance. I really did feel sorry for Whing as he battled away, only see us put ourselves under pressure yet again. So many of our players just needlessly giving the ball away, and hoofing it all over the shop.

there was way more than that, maybe nearly half of the 379 brave souls. At the end a few were singing what a load of rubbish, the others just miffed by a shit performance

Just on the m23 now, not long to go. At least this trip to Walsall I saw some football I guess

Total disgrace tonight. If he thinks one good performance means he can play like that for the rest of the season then he can quite frankly do one.

I'm pretty sure i stood next to you throughout the game tonight, your constant abuse of cox and Clayton Ince love in was the highlight of my evening. Well done sir  :clap2:
