For me it was Livermore who let their player skip through him twice like he wasn't there.. Twice !

Then there was Caroles failure to get a challenge in on the right, (viewed from the away stand), which resulted in the ball getting crossed in and giving them their 2nd or 3rd (cant remember which one). There were quite a few times when Carole held back from a few challenges as I remember.

Having said that though... The whole team need to take responsibility for what happened tonight... Not just one or two. Totally unfair to single out Cox..

I dont understand why this thread was started singling Cox out !!!!!

He was horrible but the one who really gets to me is Jarrett. He doesn't care and it showed in every lazy, lacksadaisical pass he failed to complete. No more please. R

Thats why he has only played 100 and something games in his career for god knows how many different clubs(about 13 i think).I think his playing record says it all

I saw one fan beg to be let out 20 mins before the end. A handfull left before the end. The rest of us sat there in a state of numbness. Yes the applause at the end was a bit half hearted but what else could we do

Not applaud or Boo ?.

To be fair Cox has been living off his one good season for a while now!

He doesnt offer anything defensive and his once 'good' balls into the box now dont even beat the first man!

Not that any of the other options are perfect

I was told that there was someone there to watch Cox on Saturday, that's why he played well.. Seems like it could well have been the case after what everyone's saying about last night's abysmal effort.

In addition, Andy Whing is a f***ing hero. That is all.

Did any one else notice Tony Thorpe (co-commentator last night, for those HEROES who went), had obviously been briefed about Cox the wonderkid? He kept on talking about him and how he just needs to do a bit of this, do a bit more of that etc. only to realise he wasn't that great, and stopped mentioning him!
Also a bit baffled why Thorpe was there (there's usually some link), anyone?

It was coxs fault for two of the goals. If cox could be arsed to move when Livermore was under pressure at left back, Livermore could have played a simple pass down the line and we wouldn't have conceeded the first two goals.

Because cox didn't move two yards, Livermore was closed down trying to clear the ball and we conceded two identical goals

Thats rubbish Livermore was at fault for the first 2 goals, the ball should of been in row z it wasn't because he was slow and put in half hearted tackles

Probably just a BBC 'hack' that does a bit of work for local radio.

I think he co-commentated on the Leicester away game too.

I liked his input as a neutral. He saw through some of the crap that we had on the field last night.

oh, ok.
Thought he put a good neutral view across too.

I said Livermore could have put it row Z, but maybe his inexperience at left back.

Cox was at fault because he didnt move, and give Livermore an option to pass to him. If Cox moved a whole 2 yards to the left, Livermore could have played a 10 yard pass down the line, and a goal would have been stopped

Cox not moving meant that Livermore got caught in pocession and lost the ball, and they scored. They are both at fault. Its a team game, Cox wasnt helping the team out, Livermore got caught out.
