And Jahanbakhsh, Locadia, Webster?I give you Caicedo, MacAllister, Bissouma, Cucurella and Trossard of examples of that theory being absolutely spot on.

Alan Pardew and Phil Brown's belt holstered Nokias have just gone off.A British manager would be nice if there are any out there. No big egos please.
Plus he thinks Mudryk will win the baloon door!
Clueless!
Get rid!
We might have 4 central midfielders but not of the calibre of last season’s midfieldersPlus he thinks Mudryk will win the baloon door!

I'm all in . . .Nah. That was Potter, who actually had a huge ego but buried it under an insular cloak of introverted pseudo intellectualism. Or Hughton who was great at getting us out of the shit and getting us up, but couldn’t move us on.
Give me a flair manager over that any day. RDZ understands our club, our fans, the need for results. He’s a driven perfectionist who does knee slides in Stone Island.
Roy Hodgson is English.
Webster was excellent. We got decent value from him.And Jahanbakhsh, Locadia, Webster?
All De Zerbi. And Jahanbakhsh, Locadia, Webster?
The most bang average player left in our squadWebster was excellent. We got decent value from him.
It’s not faultless but I’d argue it’s delivered far more than it’s failed. And Jahanbakhsh, Locadia, Webster?
Dahoud, fati, baleba, Milner, lallana, zeqeri, tau, etc etcI give you Caicedo, MacAllister, Bissouma, Cucurella and Trossard of examples of that theory being absolutely spot on.
I missed that opinion from Bloom (not doubting what you're saying)RDZ was the one that pushed for Fati. Bloom was quite vocal in his opinion that it was ‘expensive’ deal for the club.
Why has NSC decided Dahoud and Fati are De Zerbi's signings? I think i saw something about RDZ being a long term fan of Dahoud, but Fati? Thought he was a last minute replacement for Enciso?
RDZ is forever telling the media how lucky he is to have the squad that he has. I am pretty certain he said it again this week in the pre-Fulham press conference.
A lot of what he says is actually contradictory. Saying that he is lucky to have the squad he has but also implying that he is not being backed is the finest example.
Or like someone making excuses for his own mistakesWhy keep saying it though?
Comes across a bit spoilt.
Yes. I used to put this down to his roller coaster emotions, but after a while I get confused.RDZ is forever telling the media how lucky he is to have the squad that he has. I am pretty certain he said it again this week in the pre-Fulham press conference.

But when he delivers European football for the first time in Our history I think he expected much more backing than he got.If you watch De Zerbi's post match interview (it's on YouTube) he even goes further and seems to call out the staff, medical team, players and club to see if they want to go back to playing 1 game a week....
But when he delivers European football for the first time in Our history I think he expected much more backing than he got. It’s not faultless but I’d argue it’s delivered far more than it’s failed.
You do realise it’s the envy of every club in world and why all of our people are being cherry picked off the back of it?
RDZ was made fully aware of the way re recruit and our business model when he signed for the club.
I fully realise that but that wasn’t my original point. My point was where is the evidence that Fati and Dahoud were down to RDZ. You’ve provided no answer or evidence for that at all. If we were that good at recruitment we’d not let a new manager just bring his players in.It’s not faultless but I’d argue it’s delivered far more than it’s failed.

I think the difference is that the real gamechangers - the players that can beat people - are either injured or not yet fully fit. With them, we don’t end up knocking the ball about endlessly looking for a gap. They create the gaps.
Without them, it makes no sense to leave the defence so exposed - but we do it anyway. Repeatedly.
We’re lucky to have so many of those exciting attacking players - and unlucky they’ve all been out at once.
I can't understand why people - apparently including De Zerbi - can't get their head round why that might be.We might have 4 central midfielders but not of the calibre of last season’s midfielders
