[Albion] De Zerbi was NOT “sacked”

Marseille not only brought in De Zerbi but also his old director of football from Sassuolo, so as I've said its quite clearly our old manager and his crew doing the chasing.

There aren't many managers in the world willing to sign this player:

But of course no surprise to me that RDZ is one of the exceptions. No doubt will he have to do the Ukraine story pretty much every single presser. "I stayed there three days after the war began to avoid a breach of contrac... oops, I mean, to make sure my players were safe."

He is a good demagogue though, like many psychos he knows exactly how to make braindead emotional fans (the people) go on a crusade against the club (the establishment). It worked great here, he could f*** everything up and the fans blamed the club. Nearly two months after leaving, people still see RDZ as their glorious leader and football role model while bashing Tony and the club in every possible transfer thread. Job well done.
It will be interesting to see if Marseille fans are equally willing to see their manager as bigger and better than their club.

Mason Greenwood is a top footballer that no one besides the ultimate shithousers, Getafe, wanted. You have to have a sickening lack of empathy to sign him. I think he'll very likely end up in Marseille.

Great post 👏 I agree about RDZ somehow managing to get a cult following despite acting like a complete cvnt for 6 months and taking the piss out of Tony.

Is de zerbi nabbing our targets now .... This one looks very Brighton. He's certainly splashing the cash at OM.

Carboni's age and nationality tick our boxes -- but we don't typically buy youngsters directly from big clubs like Inter, no? And he's already an Argentina international, which will inflate his value.

I'm sure we all hope Hurzeler (is Huerzeler going to be the new Houghton?) does well, but what's de Zerbi doing well got to do with anything?

Actually Huerzeler is the correct English spelling of his surname if you are not using the umlaut over the letter u.

No different to Pascal Groß becoming Pascal Gross.

Maybe - but you can see that Hurzeler (with an umlaut) and Hurzeler (without an umlaut) is the normal usage. No Huerzeler's.

..........and I ain't doing those funny 'B's either!
No maybe about it. It’s the correct standard to add the e if you are typing a German word on a UK/US keyboard where you don’t have the umlaut vowels easily available.

In reality all 3 variations of the spelling of are surname are acceptable.

I really hope Huezeler and De Zerbi do really well or this thread is going to be an absolute binfire forevermore
I hope he does as well as he did last season with us and that Mason Greenwood get the same career trajectory as Ansu Fati.

I'd suggest it's unlikely that Marseille will take four points off Marseille in Europe and finish a place higher than Marseille in the Europa League.
